Move Haqparast/Ribovics and Gomis/Amil from the card a week before to this card and swap out the WMMA and the opening fight and you have a strong 9/10 card.

No this is the fight matchmaking wanted. Also Blaydes got a title shot from beating almeida I don't think they were ever talking about an immediate rematch.

I know it had two titles but the rest was dogwater in Australia and you see as 6.8 while this is a 5. And you must really love Pantoja that you're more excited for him crushing a middling noob at 8 than Periera vs the definitive #1 Ank.

I'm looking forward to Perreira vs Ankalaev and Rei Tsuruya (and Tsuruya is a late replacement for Silva). Otherwise, it's a pretty barebones card. 5/10.

Doesn't make sense to rate the card as a whole. 8.5/10 for main and co-main, 3/10 for the rest. Take away the top two fights and this is below average for an Apex card

Yes Alex is enough to make a card decent all on his own and Gaethje vs Hooker seems on paper to be one of the 2 ish remaining wars Justin Gaethje has left to give us, possibly his last offering of brain cells to the JBG for our enjoyment as I KNOW damn well that Dan Hooker will oblige him in violence.


But it falls off hard after that. Very very top heavy.

Fights could be good, shit 2 bums on the corner could put on a war, you never know,
but I don't see these matchups and get wood, not the majority of the card at least.

I invite anyone to tell me why I am wrong, Maybe there are guys on here who showed something on recent prelims as I have been watching mostly PPV main cards and fight night main events only these days.
