Friends sexing up dat ex

I had a huge group of friends in High School...so we all were in the same dating pool. But that was when we were young and nothing was serious. At one point I had slept with 4 of the girls in our group and they all would laugh about it and ask me who was the best. But when you get serious its a no no. Plenty of other fish in the sea.
 
For the most part I have largely had the same group of friends for the last 25 years. Inevitably, over time, there have been overlaps in who people have dated or slept with. Unless it's someone you consider to be the love of your life it shouldn't be a big deal.
 
I honestly think it's wrong. Who wants to pork sumat one of your boys has porked surely there's enough women to go around were do you all live in the country
 
I ended up marrying one of my best friends ex-girlfriends, I told him we hooked up as soon as I saw him after it happened. He wanted to fight me at first but nothing ever came of it. I basically got treated like a pariah for about a year by the group of friends but everything eventually went back to normal. They were only together a few months (most of which she was 1.5 hours away in college) and we were married for nearly 5 years.

Ironically, the friend that was most offended by my actions wasn't the ex, and he actually ended up hooking up with another friend of the groups girlfriend and apologized for being such a dick to me. I guess he realized that sometimes your drawn to people against your better judgement and also you don't know what you could be missing by not giving it a shot.

I really wouldn't know about it just being a quick lay or anything though, I think there are too many factors to consider, but the most important one is still "they're an ex for a reason".

I dont like the idea of passing a chick around in a social circle. It's just weird. Theres too many women out there to do that type of shit.

I agree with this actually.

Though technically there's nothing wrong with it, I would never do it and would not expect that any of my real friends would do that to me.

I try to surround myself with people who are ambitious and have a sense of integrity. I like for my social circle, much like my family tree, to extend outward not inward. If my friends only have the ambition and class to date people who were already attached to somebody in my circle, I would have to wonder about them.

There are exceptions and sometimes it's actually real love, but in this type of situation that is rarely the case.

Most of the time it's just somebody trying to get back at somebody.
 
really close friends I wouldn't expect to do such a thing talking about 2-3 people but anyone else it's a fair game.
 
One of my really good friends is dating one of my ex's. No biggie, doesnt bother me at all. I have been out on double dates with them. Maybe when I was much younger and a lot more insecure about myself it would have bothered me, but doesnt upset me at all now.

I assign a statute of limitations to these things. If you've been broken up longer than you dated (e.g. dated for a year broken up for two) then she's fair game.

Less than that and it depends on how significant the relationship was.

It's not about lack of integrity, sometimes your friend brings someone into your social network via a relationship and you and she hit it off after they break up. You can't really control these things.
 
With close friends to me it's a big no no. Same friends wouldn't do the same to me. Everyone else I would fuck instantly. That being said, few of my friends ex's have tried to get the D, been tempted but never did the deed.
 
If youre best friends, then they should at least tell you first. I came close to fooling around with my friends ex but it would have been fucked up so I just ignored the sloot.
 
I personally don't do that kind of thing to people.
