Sounds like Dana decided this tonight.. per Ariel and Al-Shatti

mma enlightenment is realizing that Dana White is a hump who is an active hindrance to the organization that he is inexplicably the face of

I honestly see him fighting Jake Paul next . He would be the biggest fighter Paul has faced but also the slowest .
Not a chance in hell. He would literally murder Jake Paul. Seriously, that should not get sanctioned.

If he can muster a Tyson fight, or something similar, he will be set for life with just one fight. UFC does not offer that kind of single fight money, and everyone knows it. It’s not like his agent doesn’t know what else is out there

Ngannou did the right thing. I'm actually surprised tbh. He will 100% make more money outside of the UFC. If the PFL is smart they give him 10+ mill to enter their tournament.

Are you crazy, you think the PFL will pay millions? One of their highest paid star (Kayla Harrison) gets like 100K per fight (without winning the tournament), they are going to 100X their highest paid star? Don't think so.

Jake Paul and company probably have their eyes on him. Set him up with a few showcase fights/knockouts and get him paid. He'll be ok.
I was gonna say, now with Jake Paul's super fight league where 50% revenue is promised on top of base pay, he might be able to recruit someone like Mike Tyson or perhaps even Wilder if there's no conflict with his promotion to box and he'd likely make 10 mil off that one fight.

Francis was likely offered somewhere between 1 and 2 million per fight over 8 fights. Definitely not as lucrative even with ppv points on top because Jon would be the biggest draw in heavy weight and that's still not doing over 700/800k Max.

same reason people pay to see Gregor vs Maywether, or the Paul brothers, freakshow interest.

Ben askren got 2 million lol.

McGregor vs. Mayweather was a fight involving two of the highest PPV sellers. No one outsells Mayweather in boxing or McGregor in MMA.

Ben Askren vs. Jake Paul had legit freakshow interest, there is no interest in Francis vs. Tyson, it's barely cared about by anyone. Whoever is going to invest millions to get that fight made is an idiot.

I don't see how this makes Francis a free agent if he hasn't finished the fights on his contract. UFC are notorious for keeping fighters tied to their contract and if he was finished he could have started his boxing a long time ago

He wanted to box Fury and would've made millions. But Francis doesn't have that Dana White Privelege like Canrat McFragilelegs does
He also isn't a 10th the PPV draw. It's the fight business.

Dana confirmed they've given up their right to a deal match and basically shredded his contract. They're done with him, I doubt we'll ever see Francis in the UFC again as you know they'll lowball him forever after this debacle of holding up what's arguably the fan favorite division for so long.

of course there is interest. you got heavyweight ufc champion vs all time heavyweight boxer. perfect freakshow contest. you know tyson will sell the shit out of it, easy money.

So the wife beater approved of the other wife beater to fight for the title, despite never having fought one damn fight in that division. That's Domestic Dana White Privelege for sure

the sport bigger then any one fighter always has been,,, let him go i hope him successes Be it BOXING where ever...
