Francis has no Real Options Outside UFC

Getting his ass handled by Tyson fury should be worth something. after that maybe he ca do an exhibition where Mike Tyson tools his ass.

Then he needs to retire.
55 years old Mike Tyson has no chance against Ngannou in a boxing match, it would be something like Vitor vs Holyfield

Most people think it's only about the money. Francis said it's the contract. It's the same reason why Fedor never signed. They own you.

It's phrased that you are an independent contractor (Like WWE does) but you are locked into an slave employee-like deal. They own your name, likeness, fights. Tell you where and when to be, what to wear, who to fight. Oh...and you get no health insurance.

An independent contractor is like a plumber that works for themselves. You call them, you negotiate a price and they'll work for you on a set day and time. They can also work for your neighbor or a company can pay them to do the work. That's how Francis thinks the contract should be or, the UFC needs to make everyone actual employees and provide the benefits that entails.

Thanks. The gaslighting around that issue is mindblowing.

BTW, wonder if WWE is an option for Ngannou and how much it is worth (doubt he will be interested though).

I agree, until you do the numbers, Tyson is a bigger draw.
And I never underestimate him, he still knows how to throw punches.

Former starving homeless man refuses to fight for millions of dollars

1st world problems?

Actually, since he sacrificed all of that blood, sweat, tears, jail time, health problems, etc. in the past he wants to get compensated for it the best way he thinks he can. He wants more.

Don't hate on someone wanting to get to the top of their profession, and be rewarded.

I had a friend who had a brother a few years older than us who was into theater/drama and shit at our high school. Particularly costume design, and a little bit in set design. He was ALWAYS WORKING. Paul was ALWAYS sewing this, sketching that, painting this backdrop, going to some arts and crafts store, etc. Then he went to college, and did the same shit. and then grad school. Focused isn't even the fucking word.

The top of his profession, I guess, is being a part of the top Broadway show, and getting a Tony award (he also got an Emmy).

Maybe. But will ESPN walk away from a huge PPV event to appease the UFC/WME? I’d hope not, for Franks sake. But maybe.

Precisely.
Uber and UFC should be in the same court room with the same judge reading them the riot act about miscategorizing employees and independent contractors.

Tyson Fury is a top rank fighter who's contracted to ESPN. They are not going to touch Francis without UFC's blessing. There are no other money fights. UFC's got ngounou by the balls.

Remember conor vs mayweather wouldnt have been anywhere near as successful without UFC promoting and backing it. Without the UFC ngannou isnt worth that much to boxing promoters.

This concludes bubba's sherBiz 101 class. youre welcome.
Like Francis has said from the start its not about money. Pretty sure what you want for Francis and what Francis wants for Francis aren't the same

Sign with showtime. They'd love him over there and make some kind of circus fight for him like they've done with that clown Jack Paul

i was gonna propose something like this. sign with Showtime. fight with Bellator making some millions (esp with some real and circus fights) and let Showtime organize the boxing side for Ngannou.

would watch.

Ngannou ain’t a house hold name like, Connie and any and every promoter knows this. (Rumoured PPVs for 270 are 200k) and now imagine WITHOUT the UFC hype behind him.

only hardcore MMA fans would give a shit about this fight, it ain’t happening.

Unlike MMA, boxers are protected by law from promoters dictating their careers. .

Fury can fight farncis if he wants to.
