Francis has no Real Options Outside UFC

They can do Wilder but the purse will substantially lower unless they really go overboard with the boxer vs MMA champion thing. Wilder doesn't have a belt to put up on the line

Since 2011.
I thought it was common knowledge, just like how many posters also claim UFC fighters can't have sponsors, yet they they can have as many sponsors as they want. I guess it just paints the better narrative that the UFC is evil when posters mentioned it.

Ngannou vs Rumble
Ngannou vs Fedor
Ngannou vs Overeem 2
Ngannou vs Werdum
Ngannou vs Kongo
Ngannou vs JDS 2
Ngannou vs Hunt
Ngannou vs Bob Sapp
Ngannou vs Urijah Faber

Minowa?

Francis is looking to secure that fight with Fury. If that fight can bring in 30 million for him he won't need to worry about fighting for the UFC till he's 45

Francis fights once a year at $500,000 in the UFC.

In the PFL he could fight easier fights more often and take 1 million plus.

Let alone boxing pay days. One big boxing payday would be worth a decade of UFC fights.
You really think the hw champ is only getting the 500k per fight and isn't making more than his disclosed pay?

If he fights a top ten HW boxer, he'll be able to make money on PPV..

Although I think he probably would have made more money if he just stayed with the UFC..

Fury won't box him for some time, probably won't happen.

Francis has plenty off options, there are a lot of organisations who would like to have him. If i was Ngnannou, i would give a middle finger to this bold headed dirt bag and go to another organization, that would be a big statement.

Tyson Fury is a top rank fighter who's contracted to ESPN. They are not going to touch Francis without UFC's blessing. There are no other money fights. UFC's got ngounou by the balls.

Remember conor vs mayweather wouldnt have been anywhere near as successful without UFC promoting and backing it. Without the UFC ngannou isnt worth that much to boxing promoters.

This concludes bubba's sherBiz 101 class. youre welcome.

Thats a backwards statement I would say, ESPN are the big dog in the room not the UFC, if they can make money from Francis in boxing they will reguardless of what Dana thinks.

They can't. No one outside of MMA fans gives a shit about Francis. Fury is fighting Whyte, then to unify the division. For a lot more money than he'd get for fighting Francis. It's not happening. Fury isn't going to fight in the UFC, either. Yes, he said he would do that, too.

Honestly I'm not sure, Francis isnt Conor but then again neither was Woodley and that fight vs Paul sold well the first time around.

I think there is probably a good case than Fury/Ngannou might well be the biggest drawing fight the former could have at this stage.

Bigger drawing than Fury vs the winner of Usyk / AJ for all the belts? Not even close. Boxing fans certainly aren't interested in the fight. Are MMA fans? Everyone knows it won't be remotely competitive. So who is the audience here?

Perhaps if Fury unifies then retires it might happen. Jake Paul isn't a good comparison. That kid has 20 million something subscribers on YouTube.

You yourself are also be disingenuous. The UFC cut off the aspect of sponsors that was the most valuable to the MMA independent contractor--getting paid to display sponsor logos/messages DURING FIGHT WEEK and INSIDE THE OCTAGON.

Such-and-such sport drink company will still pay you a fee, but it's a hell of a lot smaller now, because you can't promote them as effectively now.

Sure, the details may have changed with what and can be shown while the UFC is being broadcasted for the sponsors & its fighters during the week of the fight. But it still doesn't change the aspect that fighters are still allowed sponsors instead of the common belief from haters claiming the UFC essentially prohibiting them from even having sponsors in general. The UFC is conducting there sponsor policy like other sports leagues, it's just bad that the fighters don't get paid like other sports league. Do you see NFL players with a bunch of random sponsors on their jerseys? Yet almost all players right down to the rookies have sponsors outside of the main sponsors that are shown during NFL
Game Day.

I would pay good money for Ngannou vs Faber.

They have health insurance.

They can submit an expense report if they are injured during a fight or training for a booked fight. It's better than nothing but still not health insurance. If you have a family, none of them are covered.

That sounds like a personal problem at this point. Look I may come off as a shill but these adult athlete chose this occupation knowing full well what they are getting themselves into. They signed the contract no one here forced them, if they cared so much about their family they would get a real job a financial
Stable job that offers medical & benefits. MMA Fighter pay should be better, that I can agree with but not all fighters will ever reach the top or be a draw like Mcgregor that's the harsh reality of it. Most of these guys aren't very talented to begin with and the sooner they realize it the better off they would be spending their time and energy into a actual career instead of wasting years fighting only to not make it.
