Francis has no Real Options Outside UFC

They don't need Dana's approval to make Ngannou/Fury. You forgetting that Arum's Top Rank's CEO? He and Dana despise each other, and the UFC is under contract with ESPN, so it's not like the promotion can start making ultimatums. Dana has no leverage in this area if he just lets Francis walk.

Then Francis better plan on winning in style next sat.

Also is Fury going to give up his belt for this? Seems foolish. I doubt the fight draws..

Well, Fury's calling him out so either he thinks it draws or he doesn't care and just wants to fight him...

Tyson is way too smart for that. Perhaps he is just trying to help Francis along with getting a new contract. I’d be pretty surprised if this ever happens. But either way Francis damn well better win next Saturday after all this controversy and talking about his contract.

Way too smart for what? An easy pay day? Other than a couple of opponents, that fight sells more than almost any other fight he could take right now. Honestly, I don't think it even matters if Francis wins or loses. It's a different era of boxing now. People want to see these kinds of fights.

I don’t know what his deal is exactly? Is he getting massive upfront cash or does the Buy rate make a difference?

But I think Tyson is about his legacy right now. He will sit back and see what else happens in boxing. And I don’t agree people want those fights. Only if we are talking about genuine superstars on both ends. Francis is not that. In the United States nobody gives a shit about some big French guy getting his ass kicked in a boxing ring. Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather had a crazy crossover appeal. The highest drawing stars ever in their respective sports.

Of course the average fan wants to see those fights. As for Tyson Fury, he pretty clearly wants the fight and also wants to make money. If you believe otherwise that's great but I'll use common sense as well as his own words.

What makes you think Tyson isn’t just putting his name out there because he likes to put his name out there? This is a very media savvy person. At the end of the day it all comes down to does Francis dominate next Saturday or not? Then what is the status of his UFC contract? A whole Lotta red tape here.

Good lord man, take a step back and listen to yourself. And yes, Fury-Ngannou would still sell better than almost any boxing match Fury would be involved in. Just use common sense. Or Fury's own words.

Well step one he damn well better win on Saturday. He may be fighting in Bellator otherwise. Better known as where careers go to die.

UFC is espn's golden child on plus. if top rank wants another espn contract they wont even go near Francis.

Doesnt quite work like that. If Tyson wants the fight Bob Arum will make it happen.

Maybe he does maybe he doesn't
Doesn't mean he should accept less than he feels he is worth from the UFC. They are paying peanuts relative to their revenues.
Francis and Cyril should have been guaranteed at least 10x what they got on Saturday for the supposed biggest HW fight ever

he'll go to boxing.

Fury will make the fight seem close.
they will pay the judges off to make Fury win by close decision
Then setup a second fight

Boxing wont offer francis shit without the UFC machine promoting the fight.

I'm sorry, are you under the impression that ESPN cares more about Dana's feelings, than about making majorr boxing PPV money?
