Media Fedor Emelianenko Resumé Review

Randleman beat prime #3 ranked Cro Cop coming into the Fedor fight.

Coleman beat top 5 P4P prime Shogun coming into the Fedor fight

Both of these wins are bigger than any win Stipe ever had over a fighter in their prime. These clowns don't like facts.

Stipe had to wait until all of those guys were old, punch drunk, non-uber, 40 yr olds. You not foolin anyone.

Stipe has never beaten a good fighter in their prime. Not one

JDS 33, Reen, 36 both in the midst of win streaks,DC and Werdum for rhe title...whileFedor was getting pinballwd by Fabio

Pretty sure Stipes older than JDS...and much closer to Fedors age than Coleman is lol

Fedors basically .500 in legitimate fights

Prime =/= age. What type of noob doesn't understand this??

Lol what I said is not false. Between Fedor’s debut and the Werdum loss, he had more ranked wins than JDS or Stipe had in their entire careers (both have 8 ranked wins).
Those are FACTS.

Your argument has the same problem every time, which is that you’re counting by number of fights when Fedor was far more active than either JDS or Stipe. More ranked wins in 10 years than Stipe had in 11 years, and more than JDS had in 16 years.
Facts, my dude.
Pretty much you just want to complain that JMMA didn’t have guys fighting ranked opponents every time—and I get it, I really do. That doesn’t diminish the number he did fight, which is more than any other HW in history except maybe Nog.

And no one has to scramble, justify, or do anything of the sort with Hunt’s ranking—simply pull up the ranking for the time period in which he fought Fedor, and Hunt is ranked. Easy. See?

Yea as I've said before, DayV once proudly posted rankings where Sapp was 5.

Let me guess: Randleman, Coleman, Fujita, Goodridge, and Rogers all ranked wins for Fedor?

Randleman, Coleman, and Fujita were old fighters from the previous era who were ranked at the time. Big names but not great wins. Now imagine if Fedor only fought old fighters with big names from the previous era. He'd be Stipe Miocic.

Randleman beat #3 ranked Mirko coming into the Fedor fight.

Coleman beat top 5 P4P Shogun coming into the Fedor fight.

Rogers beat the #2 ranked Arlovksi coming into the Fedor fight.

Yes,these were all ranked wins for Fedor at the time, dumbass.

2006 Mark Coleman as a ranked win.

Yet Bfoe tells me Coleman signing to fight Brock for gis very next fight was a total farce

quality stuff guys

Different eras & all that but Fedor is the greatest HW I have ever watched.

it’s a shame when everything gets reduced to MMA Math. Back in the day Fedor was such a pleasure to watch.

And if Stipe got stiffened by a MW from the previous era he'd be Fedor

Dude losing to a barely 200lb man who is a Middleweight is NOT something that should happen to a Heavyweight GOAT.

What do you not understand

Era matters. Randleman would not be a top LHW or HW today or 10 years ago. Same with Coleman. And Rodgers outside of the Arlovski win is not good. Tai and Lewis are better fighters than Rodgers and better strikers especially Tai that is obvious to anyone who is not biased and or has experience in a gym.

wrong again. A win over prime Mirko stands in any era. Randleman would dump Tuivasa on his head and feed him knuckle sandwiches. Rogers beat prime Arlovksi in his 20s. That's better than any win Lewis and Tuivasa ever had.

They not thinking!

Ask someone who has no bias. Non MMA fans

"Can the greatest Heavyweight ever lose to non Heavyweight fighters and get brutally finished by a smaller man from 2 lower weight class division?"

They would say NO

Then ask which is worse losing to a MW or a legit HW as the supposed HW GOAT. They would say losing to the MW is worse.

I'm a huge Fedor fan... but listening to a guy who never did any martial arts trying to explain technique is super annoying.

Nah Bigfoot was too

Nog also lost to him.

Struve is 13-11 in the big league at HW

Yeah but Nog with 10x more experience and BJJ with his alledged elite boxing was zombie Nog now.... Somehow when Nog fought Werdum in a rematch he was zombie Nog but somehow 1 year younger Werdum who fought almost as long careerwise and who had his own injuries is not called a zombie....

There's been like five instances of flaming I could have carded people for in this thread. If you guys don't tone this shit down, I'm merging this thread and handing out cards.

You still try to count Fujita too, brother. Shit's weak. Hunt being ranked is a technicality, it's not a testament to the quality of Fedro's competition. 5-2 coming off a loss with 1 ranked win almost 2 years prior is one of his THREE title defenses.

Counting Randleman, Fujita, and Hunt as top guys is disingenuous. So is pretending that less than 3 out of 10 is somehow acceptable, or that the WAMMA belt was significant. It's weak, bro. You know.

Fedor was an excellent top 5 HW in my eyes. But the Nog worship is done by Fedor fanatics who have overrate Nog in order to make Fedors win over a 1 dimesional fighter seem more relevant to todays fighters. Fedor was far above the other fighters of his era if Fedor was prime today he would be a better version of Romanov or similar to how Cormier was. The Nog worship and overrating Sylvia, Fujita, etc is designed to make Fedor look better.

I am a Fedor fan but I am realistic and objective. I cannot in good faith say these wins below are "elite" or surpass Stipe and Ngannou or Werdums list. Only Fedors wins over Old Mir, Arlovski, Cro Cop stick out as truly elite even in the current era as all of those 3 developed well rounded games and continjed to prominence. Nog and Hunt regressed and both remained 1 dimesional.

To any honest person

Coleman
Randleman
Babalu
Arona
Sylvia
Rodgers
Big Nog
Lindland
Hunt

Would not be too HWs today. And half of those are literally LHWs or MWs.... Also all are 1 dimesional.
