You compared Frank Mir to TJ Waldburger and 95% of your posts in Heavies are about him.
Excellent call-out.

Yeah, yeah. Standard dumb Anung response.
Do you think that the Iraq War would have happened if not for Nader's vanity campaign? Would it have happened if Clinton had voted not to authorize it?
You can say that again. I had this one conversation with him where he claimed communism was true freedom and that national libertarianism would be tantamount to enslaving us all. He really appears to enjoy turning shit completely upside down. I can't understand how anyone can think of him as a good poster, but maybe it's easier to buy into the "nicest funklord" thing when he hasn't taken pot shots at you on a thread he hasn't previously posted at all.He likes to lie about it and say it's not true as well. Weird guy.
Wouldn't surprise me and as far as paid posters go every time Gotti Mcaren accused someone of being a paid poster i became a little more suspicious that he was a one himself.
I'm with you on this one.
I can't remember the ref of the Nog fight, pretty sure it was Big John, but I thought when he warned Nog about hitting to the back of the head, the whole fight changed in Mir's favour. He was on the brink of defeat there. As a Big Nog fan, that one hurt.
IIRC, Hunt closed at -120, which meant that people were still betting Mir. For what reason, I have no idea. I saw a couple of people clean up on that one. From now on, I think Mir's odds will reflect reality more than before.
I literally question whether you've watched a UFC event in the last 10 years. This may or may not be your fault (if you are blind, are a bot, or have some cognitive disability) but anyone who's followed your HW posting (I can attest since Jan 2007 and reading thousands of your posts there) will whole-heartedly agree that there is something very strange about your onion-paper-thin perception of the sport and its history. I can't help but call you out because you insist on wading in with your usual illusion of understanding about said topic.
Sorry, but what I said is true.
Excellent call-out.
You tore up the heavyweights back in 2008 and 2009 during that period. Was great to watch.
For no other reason than he's been fighting as a UFC HW forever and everyone eventually loses their youth and chin.
Gotti started out as a full on climate change denier and whem that position became too hard to defend he moved on to denying mmcc , he would post massive amounts and walls of text but he was pretty shit at defending the garbage he postedNaw, Gotti was alright, maybe an agenda as far as MMCC, but I don't think he was a paid shill. He was the best Climate Change skeptic I have ever seen.
Remember, I am the king of the paid shill accusation, or atleast I used to be.
In fact when I started lurking here again, I was disappointing to see the phrase paid shill had went out of fashion, as that was the phrase I preferred to use, and it seemed to gain traction for a long while here.
Lol. Do you have me confused with Jack? Not sure my HW posting is a thing of legend.
I think Mir's best win is CroCop.
Goodness.
I think Mir's best win is CroCop. I can't remember the first Big Nog fight, but it's impressive on paper. I seem to remember Nog having a staff infection or some such.
I just always felt that Mir was overrated. It's true his chin has been gone, but I think it's been gone for longer than people realize.
Mir is one of the litmus tests of mma knowledge. He killed Nog both times. The same posters will hail the heavier Nog while denegrating Frank for a litany of false reasons. I wouldnt even know where to start but I stopped critizing Mir a loooong time ago.
I'm sure I've many times said, "oh that's a dumb point" or something like that. People make dumb points a lot. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
He often uses "bizarre" as a synonym. If this all hinges on having to use one particular word then yeah, it's certainly far more rare than I've indicated.
