Calls a poster stupid then doubles down on stupid by blaming Nader, a man who held no elected position, for a war, the impetus for which occurred nearly a year after his bid for the presidency, while defending Hillary Clinton, a person who actually voted for the war. He then disparages the character of one of the greatest Americans of the 20th Century just a few posts after championing Clinton as "decent" and "normal". This is classic Hack (D).

You can say that again. I had this one conversation with him where he claimed communism was true freedom and that national libertarianism would be tantamount to enslaving us all. He really appears to enjoy turning shit completely upside down. I can't understand how anyone can think of him as a good poster, but maybe it's easier to buy into the "nicest funklord" thing when he hasn't taken pot shots at you on a thread he hasn't previously posted at all.

I can't remember the ref of the Nog fight, pretty sure it was Big John, but I thought when he warned Nog about hitting to the back of the head, the whole fight changed in Mir's favour. He was on the brink of defeat there. As a Big Nog fan, that one hurt.

IIRC, Hunt closed at -120, which meant that people were still betting Mir. For what reason, I have no idea. I saw a couple of people clean up on that one. From now on, I think Mir's odds will reflect reality more than before.

For no other reason than he's been fighting as a UFC HW forever and everyone eventually loses their youth and chin.

I literally question whether you've watched a UFC event in the last 10 years. This may or may not be your fault (if you are blind, are a bot, or have some cognitive disability) but anyone who's followed your HW posting (I can attest since Jan 2007 and reading thousands of your posts there) will whole-heartedly agree that there is something very strange about your onion-paper-thin perception of the sport and its history. I just always felt that Mir was overrated. It's true his chin has been gone, but I think it's been gone for longer than people realize.

I don't like looking at wins and losses in a vacuum. I like looking at percentages and not results. Mir may have won both fights, but what would you set the line at in a 2012 rematch?
