I'm probably the fattest guy at my gym at 6 foot and 250 pounds. I've seen one other guy who looked bigger than me once, but I haven't seen him there since.
It seems to defy logic that fat guys can move so gracefully on the mat.
Haha. It's still blowing your mind that you got schooled by a 115 kg brown belt, huh?
LOL! Awesome post! I prefer to describe myself as a chunky but funky player! Big guy, 6' & 270lbs, with little man's guard skills, working to implement inverted techniques, ala Cyborg, in the new year! I've insisted for last couple of years on starting on bottom when rolling to strengthen my guard/sweep game. I find that I have more partners to roll with also!!
Oh its on now bitch,
My record is 3.2kg lost in 2.5 hours of BJJ.
That is over 4% of my bodyweight.
I can top that. I rain 6 pounds of sweat per hour almost every class.
my personal record is 12 pounds in 3 hours. But it was really hot and i was well hydrated. Thank God the second half was no gi.
Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
*They*? Cause only big guys sweat right? I'm sure you've never sweated on a guy you were rolling with.![]()
Big guys with technical guards scare the shit out of me, I do not expect a massive dude to pull guard and start playing something like spider

There is an extreme large guy at my school, he's gotta be at LEAST 250 easy. And I can never roll with him. He just tosses me around and I have no answer for him. Hell, it's not like I can even get my legs around him to hold guard.
Sad thing is, and this just could be my total lack of skill talking, I feel like when I watch him I do have more technique then hi, but just not enough of it to overcome someone as powerful as him.
The Inverted Gear panda bear reminds me of him, except the panda is far more flexible.
