Exposing the Grift: Go Woke Go Broke

It’s a hive mind with woke folk. Just as powerful as religion.

I wouldn't get carried away. I mean I'm an atheist but taking Christianity, it's been around 2,000 plus years now and still a pretty big force. It provided so much inspiration in terms of the arts and architecture etc that have survived the test of time.

Woke type ideology (I guess I would define that as a spiritual successor to Marxism that is not based on class struggle but identity politics and post-modern ethics) seems like it will be lucky to last 20 years. I'm not really sure what it has inspired that will survive the test of time?

It seems pretty fitting to be honest; it seems to have largely been pushed by maladjusted kids addicted to the internet thinking they were way smarter than they really were because they built up a little knowledge in some liberal arts areas while really having little to no knowledge of law, economics, history, and politics; which are pretty darn important when it comes to credibly understanding the world and proposing how it should be structured.

Could add logic and common sense to the things they don't understand

It doesn’t have the staying power of the world’s major religions, but it’s just as powerful on the minds of those who follow it in terms of denying reality when it contradicts their dogma and in terms and of feeling morally superior to the “infidels”.

And thankfully it it is on the way out. Worst political trend of my lifetime. Progressive wokeism is gonna be like GWB. When they grow up they’ll deny they ever supported it.

Science under Christianity:
>Newtonian dynamics
>Lagrangian dynamics
>Hamiltonian dynamics
>Galilean relativity
>Lorentz relativity
>Newtonian gravity
>Einsteinian gravity
>Classical electrodynamics
>Quantum electrodynamics
>Statistical mechanics

Science under woke atheism:
>Men with small penises tend to own guns!
>Men with small penises tend to drive trucks!
>There are a trillion genders!

Not sure if anyone here knows about Kpop Demon Hunters but it's the #1 movie on Netflix right now and completely destroyed anything Disney came out with recently. On zero marketing.

Disney's answer to that was Elio which just bombed bad. It originally had a lot of LGBTQ and queer coded themes, but Disney leadership ordered it taken out. In response the director left the project in the middle of it and a lot of the writers objected to the changes causing a shitshow and delays.

Then the movie bombed bad. Now all the Variety and Hollywood Reporters are blaming taking out most of the gay shit as the cause of the movie being bad. They wanted it to be MORE WOKE. LMAO they never learn it seems.

Science itself is "woke" and completely antithetical to religious mythology, especially the christian mythology

K-pop was super wokety-woke.

Part of Sony's agenda for diverse representation in animation (DEI), following in vain of Spiderverse

In addition to featuring non-white protagonist, they're "strong" female leads offering diverse cultural representation

One of the biggest motivating forces for the scientific revolution was men of faith believed that the universe could be studied through scientific evaluation precisely because it was a design that could be unraveled and understood.

An one of and still biggest opponents of science, is religious mythology

Man, there are people on here that have accused the "weather channel" of being too woke. There is a thread now where people are calling vaccines "woke" therefore banned
Surprised you came back after the cunt of it you made with F4 and superman

Desperately trying to claim they were woke because you thought they would be hits. Then they were both poor at box office. Funny shit

They believed that science would prove the existence of god, and when that didn't happen, religion rejected "the science".

Yeah, I get the reddit talking points. But just lumping religions together as some sort of monolith doesnt really mean anything. The fact remains that religious belief fueled the scientific revolution. Religious history would be an immense subject spanning centuries and containing a ridiculously large amount of beliefs and practices. Simply declaring that religion is anti-thetical to science isnt accurate, and religious belief is one of the main factors that allowed science to flourish.

For sure, again, the impact of religion on society is so huge that there are always going to be massive pluses and minuses on both sides of the ledger. It's no different than business and government. There are always going to be a lot of pluses and minuses.

I mean, some of the Godless revolutions i.e. kymer rouge basically believe in killing anyone with glasses for they were "intellects".

And a lot of post-modernist thought that is anti-religion has plenty of anti-science, and anti-truth sentiment. So thinking rejection religion then necessarily defaults someone into embracing science is a fiction as well. They (a portion of they is more accurate) are just embracing their own preferred emotional impulses no matter how unscientific.

I dont know what reddit points are

However the nature of religion, particularly the Abrahamic mythologies, is that the answers to the universe are written in mythological scriptures of magic prophets and deities, whereas science is about seeking, provable truths.

These are fundamentally polar opposite ideologies to which religion has frequently reacted with great hostility and violence against.

There is no doubt that religion/ superstition/ mythology fuels science. The religious person believes the rain god is causing it to rain, the scientist wants to find the true cause of rain.

This is fundamental cornerstone of the religion/mythology vs. science paradox / conservatism vs. progress, we see just as much in modern society.

You dont even have to look far to find this; there is a discussion, right now on this forum where religious people are arguing they dont believe the bing bang theory, because Jesus used magical powers the create the universe.

Joe Rogan isnt sold on the Bing Bang theory finds Jesus resurrection more plausible
