The Beatles... pretty much their whole short career. It is weird to think about how short the band lived for.

The guy that made me think of this thread is Clive Barker. I'm re-reading some of his early stuff. It is silly great.

Clive and the 80s/early 90s... he was on fire.
Books of Blood - Various times in the 80s.
The Damnation Game - 1985
The Hellbound Heart - 1986
Weaveworld - 1987
Cabal - 1988
The Great and Secret Show - 1989
Imajica - 1991

And doing movies/paintings and whatnot at the time he was writing those masterpieces.

James Dean's career.

Al Pacino, Dustin Hoffman, Roy Scheider, Gene Hackman, Robert Duvall and Robert DeNiro in the 1970s.

Madonna and George Michael from around 1981-1989.

Jlo had the number 1 movie and album released in the same week.

good call on Clive Barker

i've read Hellbound Heart, a good deal of Books of Blood, and i'd love to further explore the catalog

Do check out some of the other 80s work. It is amazing.

Some lame dude that costarred in the #1 and #3 biggest box office movies of 2003

Weaveworld was a.goddamn strange book. Was Imajica the one where the dudes parents were second rate gods?

I see that people here can't make the distinction between artists and entertainers.

Stephen King in the late 70s and into the 80s. He published Carrie, The Shining, The Stand, The Dead Zone, the first few Dark Tower books, It, Misery and more. He became less consistent in the 90s.

James Dean's career.

Al Pacino, Dustin Hoffman, Roy Scheider, Gene Hackman, Robert Duvall and Robert DeNiro in the 1970s.

Madonna and George Michael from around 1981-1989.

I've seen 2 of the 3 James Dean movies, and while he stood out in both, neither are spectacular. I liked Giant enough, but Rebel Without a Cause was pretty bad imo.

Oh and stop liking everything Helmer!
