Volk told the story in the interview. Basically Volk missed one of Belal's calls one time and belal had a hissy fit and went to twitter to bad mouth volk. When volk realized he missed belal's call, he called belal back and belal was all like, "oh, oh sorry sorry, ignore what I said on twitter"

Then volk saw what belal said on twitter and was just amazed that belal would act like a vengeful ex GF just because volk missed a phone call lol.

Volk has been telling the belal phone call story for a long time across several podcasts. I'm not sure I buy that august first was the first time he told that story, nor am I convinced the specific tweets people bring up from belal are the ones related to volk's story. I'm not sure, but I do know I heard that belal phone call story before I saw the tweet about volk saying he likes his chances against Belal, which isn't even that disrespectful since, you know, champs believe in themselves, and belal said islam works him over, and at the time volk just gave islam all he could handle.


For what it's worth. I think it is stupid on both sides and doesn't even constitute a "beef". I bet if you put them in a room together, they'd make up within 60 seconds and be friendly.
