this motherfucker just hugged me on the 2nd stage. and it didnt do any damage but i got a voice line from some npc. i avoided the meteor and had him down to a sliver of health. and he hugged me again while my mimic was chipping away at him with no damage...all of a sudden it said "heart stolen" and then put me back to the site of grace, gave me an emote and now i gotta fight him again.

The Perfumes apparently did. Bloodfiend Arm wrecked him pretty good.

Here was my kill on him with the Arm. I basically avoided phase 2 lol.

i finally got him down. with no flasks left and a sliver of health. the motherfucker hugged me and then did that shooting star bullshit again, i somehow survived, i dodged his next hug attempt and staggered him and then landed the killshot

Got really lucky with his poise meter being in the perfect place for phase two. Was very satisfying to melt him though lol.

iv'e read that the bleed-infused fingerprint shield + bolt of gransax makes the encounter rather easy. and the bloodfiend's arm as well.

Finally dodged a few of those clone attacks he does after the meteor shower but it's so hard getting the timing right on everything. That attack is ridiculous.

Messmer was anal raping me all day, moved over to Gaius and was raped even more. Switched back to my bloodhound fang from the Miladay and beat both.

Fought Godfrey last night, still love that fight but damn it feels like he’s moving in molasses compared to this DLC. Malenia is literally the only thing from the base game that comes close to the Erdtree intensity.

Beat the flower guy, Gaius, The Secret Finger Boss and Messmer last night. I still haven't killed a single dragon. I fucking hate fighting dragons.

Messmer wasn't really anything compared to some other horrors i've fought. Had all the timings for his shit down, including that Yharnam snake attack, by the 3rd attempt which i won.

Rellana is still toughest fight so far for me.
