No Spoilers Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC

I dunno. It's maxed out and I've been using it the whole game. I don't really mind the length of the fight if I can figure out how to dodge all the bs magic in phase two but just not seeing it yet.
What’s your Scadu like? I used it on him initially too but don’t remember it being that low.

Buddy if youre crying about Messmer, just wait…

the only thing left for me now is he fissure, midra, and radahn. already slogged through the barren abyssal woods and i'm in midra's manse now. should have this over and done with today so long as the radahn fight isn't as bonkers as everyone says it is.

this dlc sucks. the bosses are beyond cheap and the exploration is hot garbage.

i'm using the build version of the game before they nerfed the damage scaling, the bloodfiends arm and that perfume shit. in my next run i'm just gonna go in there and cheese the fuck out of everything with the bloodfiends arm with my mimic tear alongside. i'm not slogging through this bullshit again and dealing with this crap. if they don't want to fight fair than neither will i. fuck 'em. i've had enough whine. next time i'm bringing all the cheese.

Game journalists heaping tons of praise on the DLC, one of the best reviewed titles of the year.

Gamers complaining about how hard it is.

alright ive cleared everything up to enir-llim and a bunch of furnace golems scattered along the way.

gonna run through that, grab the last 4 scat blessings and spirit ash fragments. after that all thats left is radahn and tying up that trina side quest and all that other stuff

man its gonna be so much faster on my next runs now i wont have to go around collecting golden seeds or those scat fragments and running around doing the side dungeons and shit for gear i've already picked up and will never use. now i can just get straight to the meat and potatoes on my next run.

maybe i shouldnt have started anew, but after my 4th journey i was kinda breezing through the game too easilly and i wanted a bit of a fresh start just for a challenge. well i got what i came for anyways, at least with the DLC. these bosses are bullshit though no matter which way you slice it. i don't feel guilty at all about pulling out the mimic cheese on these ones.

I've never had to drastically change up my build for a boss, but I'm shaking everything up to fight Radahn. Going for the tankiest build possible.

From head to toe, and spell to weapon, I'm tailoring every aspect of my build exclusively for this bastard.

Not since my first playthrough of Dark Souls 1, where I fat rolled in Havel's armor just to beat Nito, did I focus so much on one boss. I'd later be able to beat him and everyone else just sporting a loin cloth to roll better. Radahn is a different beast.

I'm going with the best holy damage negation gear and focusing on stamina/shield for practically everything else. It's taken me on a crazy journey through parts of the base game and DLC I missed. It's probably a good 5 to 8 hours worth. It's been a lot of fun!

I'm still undecided on my weapon. I want to finish him off with my Claymore, but might need a faster poke weapon. Any suggestions?

Fuck his ass with the lance for me mate!

Still on Radahn.... Over a week.

I just cannot get him. Tend to tank through hits to damage, but that shit don't fly in phase two. Uggggghhhh.

I think it's 17 so definitely high enough. As they say, must be a skill issue.
You might just be raw dogging it more than I was. I had three Faith buffs and my flask.

Or maybe I was doing crap damage with Heavy Great Stars too and that’s what made me look for an alternative lol

lmao i "took him down" on the first try. well i almost had him down and then i started panic wrestling and then died and then my mimic landed a death blow but it was too late for it to register.

this might not be so bad after all. or i got really lucky doing my rollie pollie unga bunga shit.

alright now i'm getting worked over.

mimic got him again! but too late.

man i keep coming so close but then he disappears and does this move from the sky that one shots me. cheap sonofabitch.

Is the claymore rolling attack still a poke? That would be perfect.

Yeah maybe. Haven't switched up anything yet because I'm stubborn but fuck me. There are still some attacks in phase two where I get clipped by a light pillar and then smoked by some bs 7 hit combo.

I'll bet you there is some retardo build/weird skill combo hidden amongst it all that makes a mockery of him and it just hasn't been discovered.

haha, I think that's where I'm going. Was looking it up. Looking at the sword lance from the DLC, that thing is a poke machine, never tried it before.

Yeah, but I want something I can stab the fucker with repeatedly with decent range.

You did awesome in your Radahn fight btw, better than I ever have dodge wise. Like Dizzy said, you prob just need to do more damage.
