This is fight is going to be awesome. Max will be well equipped for 155 this time around & Dustin is slowing down, although he still has power

there's not a whole lot of fights booked that gets my dick hard.. sadly

usually around this time of year you have some crazy shit to look forward to the coming months

but nope
let's just hope 317 announcement involves Ilia and Islam and a good undercard

Man matchmaking has been atrocious lately… what a pointless stupid fight.

What does Dustin going 3-0 against Max and retiring do for anyone?

Agreed, this is bad match making.

If Max was also planning on retirement I could see how this fits, but otherwise its a pointless 3rd matchup between these guys and bad for the division.

I don't love this fight in terms of competition and rankings, but it really ain't about that imo. I do like it as a retirement send off for Dustin.

It's crazy, I posted here for a long time years back under a different name. Left and went to an offshoot that was around a while. They managed to get an interview with Dustin when he was literally an unknown up and comer just starting in UFC. Crazy how long ago that's been now. Time flies.

Who cares about who wins this fight. Boring.

LW matchups I would like to see:
Poirier vs. Pimblett.
Holloway vs. Moicano.
Arman vs. Dawson.

I like the fight and storyline with it.

DP getting a shot at the BMF and retirement fight in his home state.

I think it will be a banger.

I’m sure it’ll be a good fight but Paddy would’ve been such a better option for Poirier’s legacy and the division as a whole. Could’ve beat a young up and comer with name value or gave him the chance to piggyback off your fame with a win over you, instead it’ll be a third win over Holloway, smashing the brakes on his final LW run, or he beats you and basically takes your place as another old vet sitting at the top.

Not really too excited by this, but I'll watch nonetheless.

Just want the UFC to announce Jones/Aspinall & DDP/Chimaev.

Not the most exciting matchup but it's a win-win for both guys.

Poirier gets to fight someone he’s already beaten twice. If he wins, he’s 3-0. If he loses, he’s still up 2-1, no big deal.

Holloway gets a chance to avenge those losses. A win boosts him at lightweight, a loss doesn’t hurt his stock much. Better to lose to the same elite guy than rack up Ls to different names.

It’s a low-risk, high-reward, easy money fight for both.
