I want DDP to win but I highly doubt that lol.

He might be able to clinch and trip when Khamzat is gassed and slower, but the absolute violence in which Khamzat goes for the takedown is insane. He's so fast and aggressive when he wants to take people down, and I don't know if Dricus could counter that and take Chimaev down instead.

I believe he will. Khamzat has to be very strategic in this fight, DDP just has to do what he does. I just can't see how Khamzat gets an early finish. DDP tko, maybe round 4-5 is my pick.

Great fight. Khamzat looked like a monster against Bobby but so did DDP they're both a different breed.

Longer the fight goes on the longer you more have to favour DDP, Khamzat will need to get it done fast or follow Khabib's advice.

Yeah, I know. They have been training in very high secrecy. I did see some so-called 'training for Khamzat' footage, but not sure if it is truly recent or old footage as clickbait. Dricus was doing a lot of strongman exercises like farmers walk, stone lifting, walking with a heavy stone etc.

He has had a long MMA career in 4 organizations including being a double champ in a previous organization. He has fought at the championship level multiple times. Way more seasoned, experienced and a pro at handling pressure than most of the Khamzat fans are willing to give him credit for LOL

I think you're misunderstanding the people who think Khamzat will win.

I don't think he will win because Dricus is not a very good fighter, or that his mindset is not strong enough. I just think Khamzat's grappling and wrestling skills are just a level beyond in the division and that one camp isn't enough to close that gap.

Sure, why not, thats a good plan. Thats the kind of thing guys like GSP and Jones would do with that fight IQ, attack their unknown weakness, as no one ever tries to actually take these guys down like Khamzat, reverse it on them and try to put them on the mat instead of always being of the defensive.
