Under my optimum fighting rules? No. Before Dr. Strange can move or if he starts to move, Superman super speeds and punches him.
Okay thank.

In your opinion, who has the potential to be the strongest hero and strongest villain from both Marvel and DC?

Good stuff. Mantis jokes aside, Iron man vs Rocket was my favorite.
Thanks. I put a bit more effort in the Iron Man vs. Rocket battle.

A bit disappointed there is no love yet for the Hulk vs. Groot battle. I was proud of that one. I thought it was my most clever among the battles. To me, it felt like a Pixar short film. There's some tenderness, humor, action and a bittersweet ending.

DCEU
strongest hero - Superman
strongest villain so far - Ares
potential strongest villain - Darkseid

MCU
strongest hero - Thor or Hulk
potential strongest hero - Captain Marvel (edit: or Doctor Strange)
strongest villain - Thanos

Edit: I'm assuming strongest means most powerful, right.

DC
strongest hero - Superman

Marvel
strongest hero - Thor or Hulk

strongest villain - Thanos
Nice!! No clue who Ares or Captain Marvel are - will check them out now!

But Superman is vulnerable to magic
First, we are talking about the DCEU. So it's not yet revealed if Superman is vulnerable to magic.

Second, as I said, this is under optimal fighting rules. So before Dr. Strange can utter any words or cast any spells, Superman uses his super speed to knock out Strange. To make it easier for some of you to visualize it, think of Fox's Quicksilver. When he moves at super speed, everything is in super slow motion, it's like they are not moving at all.

Superman should beat everyone. But he wouldn't. He's too dumb.

Rules stated they go full bore.

Supes has been trying not to accidentally kill everyone around him all his life. It's not surprising the character has a tendency towards holding back.

Eye of agamotto....

Yeah but he's still pretty dumb.

I honestly don't understand how anyone with his super strength and second-to-Flash speed can lose to anyone including (especially) Doomsday who's pretty much a juiced-up pre-USADA Hulk.

He should be fighting like this...

But instead, he fights like this...

Not to mention his heat vision and all that other shit.

The problem with Supes is that his writers made him invincible, then wanted him to appear humane by losing, so they had to dumb him down everytime. So Supes is literally the dumbest superhero ever.

Eye of agamotto....
The same Eye of Agamotto that takes a few seconds and a few hand gestures to set up? In the second GIF, Kaecilius came sooo close to stabbing Strange before Stephen activated the Eye. Imagine if Kaecilius had just a fraction of Supes' super speed.

It would appear that dialogue is not your strongest side
<Fedor23>

Don't feel bad, action scenes still kick ass in my book.

j/k, of course. On a more serious side, i just thought that one was using the cliches established in the MCU. Dumbed down Hulk, and "I am Groot" misunderstandings. Also, Hulk ragdolling someone for the third time would be too much (as much as I love both of those scenes).

Hope you don't take this (lighthearted comment) to heart, it's still a great effort (much more than any of us would have put into this).

No problem. I appreciate the feedback. Maybe it plays better in my head and I lack the articulation to properly convey it in words.

Does Dr Strange have time to prepare?

"I lack the articulation" = not sure if serious.gif....

Don't worry about my thoughts on it, that scene has more likes (as superficial as the number of likes is) than many others. Rest on your laurels, you did good ;)

Does Dr Strange have time to prepare?

If Batman debates have given us any lessons, it would be that we shouldn't, under any circumstances, mention prep time in superhero debates.
