When Magneto really wants to go in raw it’s difficult to stop him. Not really sure anyone but Thor can give him a real challenge.

Though I didn’t like the story, the ultimates run where he is the big bad demonstrates that he’s more or less unstoppable when he wants to be.

I loved the first two volumes of the OG Ultimates, but the Ulitmate version of Magneto was shite. They basically took away every single redeeming feature that makes 616 Magneto such an interesting character, and left him as just another sadistic psychopath.

But that wasn't standard Thor.

Standard Thor can't get anything through magneto forcefield and lightning actually charges up magnetics power lol

His main weaknesses have always been subatomic manipulation Ala Phoenix force jean grey and telepathic attacks, which his helmet blocks.

Wanda powered up Ala house of M could also fuck him. But she tends to not fuck with him because, well, he is her father for one.

In the shitty “old man Hawkeye” run they explained that Thor was killed by Absorbing Man absorbing Magneto and Wanda’s power and unleashing it on Thor. It was a clever approach but poorly written.
