Crime Dozens of masked individuals attacked ICE detention center, responding officer shot in neck

Ice isn’t ripping kids from parents. Illegal parents are forced to leave the country. The kids if they are citizens can stay. They are also allowed to leave with the parents. It’s their choice
The 3 year olds with cancer can stay and have their cancer meds and treatments interrupted after being ripped away from their parents. It’s their choice. FTFY

To argue that Feds should be masked because they might be doxxed is retarded. Police are supposed to operate with transparency which is why they wear their names on their chest and have a badge number, there's no such thing as doxxing a police officer because it shouldn't be an anonymous position in the first place. And this is, in addition to historical context of course, is why the phenomenon of "secret police" carries a negative connotation.

Of course there are exceptions like undercover officers and deep cover intelligence agents but that's not what we're talking about, we're talking about routine enforcement of federal law being carried out in an opaque manner.

But they are being doxed. Some politicians have even publicly stated they will "expose" these ICE agents.

There is a supercharged political rhetoric with constant bystanders trying to prevent you from doing your job, sophisticated facial recognition technology, and people actively doxing people on social media platforms across the country.

On top of that, doxing would jeopardize future undercover operations. Imagine John Q. Citizen out there is taking videos of this agent and posting it on social media. The picture of this agent’s posted, then their address is posted. It’s ‘go over to this house and protest in front of this person’s house.’ ‘Oh, this person has a 15-year-old son. That son goes to this school.’

That’s extremely scary for these agents. And they have every legal right to wear them as well. There is no federal law that forbids federal law enforcement personnel from wearing masks. Which they don't even always wear BTW.

They're cops, they shouldn't operate without some kind of identifying info like a badge number or name tag unless they're undercover or actively engaged in intelligence operations.

They're fucking cops, they shouldn't operate without some kind of identifying info like a badge number or name tag unless they're undercover or actively engaged in intelligence operations.

1. ICE agents aren't cops.

2. And they do have identifying badges and are legally required to display it unless their safety is at risk at the moment.

Okay, they're law enforcement officers and what I said still stands

Nah, do your job without looking like a masked jackboot so you can be held accountable for any improper behavior.

What do you think waitresses and uber drivers have to deal with? You think the ICE goon is suffering a unique risk? I'm not at all comfortable with that becoming normalized.
It should remain mandatory practice, legally and professionally, to always be easily identifiable in any public intereaction capacity.

Is that woman being zip-tied and disappeared in a van by a certified ICE agent or was that actually a serial killer that took her?

<{MingNope}>

either we rip you away from your parents or you deport yourself. how gracious.
So the parents get to stay illegally bc the came to the country illegally but had kids who are citizens bc they were born here ? Makes sense to me.

Everyone sneak over the border have a kid then you get to stay here automatically!! That seems sustainable

We need to deport all the "adults" that write like they're a 14 year old girl texting their boyfriend.

The sad thing is, most immigrants probably have a higher level of education and literacy than this can.

yes literally. by law.

again, literally yes. our nation is more prosperous than it's ever been, regardless of inflation.

that's "real gdp" aka adjusted for inflation and fiscal climate.

There probably was a time they did do that, and then a bunch got identified and murdered by criminal organizations, so they started to hide their identities.

You're basically asking for every special ops to identify themselves, so criminals can have the upper hand on them. Should CIA agents be forced to identify themselves when they are working to bring down terrorist organizations too? Undercover cops? Wouldn't want them not being held accountable if they skirt the rules a little bit in getting the job done, now would we?

You have a problem with illegal aliens being given this choice? I mean, considering they broke the country's laws to come here and enjoy freedoms they didn't earn the right way, it's very charitable to allow them the choice to let their anchor babies stay here or go with them.

Shouldn't this be attempted murder though? The cop is still alive, though in critical condition. I have no problem with these pieces of shit getting life though.

Well when you got people falling for the hate mongering from media you get stupid results like this . Blind outrage “grrrr random ice worker bad!”
And then you have excuses for the violence “ice agents are terrorizing people they arrest and hide their faces” durrr

No its not the law the parents get to stay. The child is a citizen and once an adult they have a right to live here. Their parent's have the right to take them with them or they can make other arrangements.

They should get federal charges so they get life with no parole.
