they'd be out of business if they cared to.What are the chances these Gender affirming clinics can spot such cases? I've no confidence they would tbh.
it's a money grab, man.

I know a guy on another forum who admitted he wanted to be a girl when he was a kid but says he grew out of it and is glad he is a dude now. Brave of him to admit it but I'm sure there are lots of kids going through phases where it seems like the opposite sex has it better but they grow out of it. gaslighting to give the impression of normality. There are small numbers of people who have regrets. Can’t realistically hope to screen 100% of these people out. That’s very true. But there are people who have regrets about every medical intervention / surgery.
source?Regret in transgender people seems to be orders of magnitude less than many other procedures
https://forums.sherdog.com/threads/ive-been-saying-it-starts-at-home.4246937/page-7I have not seen nor heard of this thread. But sure, if you want to drop I will also let it go. It's one of those days.

Lmao. Most of these clinics, at least where I’ve lived, have been at large academic teaching hospitals. I have about 10 transgender patients I treat now, and their options for specialty clinics are basically UCSF or Stanford.they'd be out of business if they cared to.

One of the strategic points goes further on the plan to crush opposition to the demands of trans-identified males, advising trans activists to “call out the villains” by "exploiting divisions across race." It then provides an example of associating trans youth with Black students who are academically penalized for their hair, or female students who are told their clothes don't meet dress codes.
In a recent article for 4W, Black Marxist-feminist writer Jennifer Seiland has decried the constant references to racial minorities by trans activists in an attempt to bolster their arguments, noting: "The tactic is a brilliant one... after all, if one succeeds in obfuscating the meaning of “woman,” then on what basis can any woman, even those who aren't but self-identify as such, be excluded?"
On the hotly contested issue of males competing in women's sports teams, the narrative guide encourages activists to "connect the attacks on trans woman athletes to the long legacy of discrimination against all women athletes." The guide states that amongst its focus groups "this message both shifted our audiences from an individual to a collective mindset and disrupted transphobic conceptions of transgender girls and women as actually male." It goes on to give an example quote of framing:
"Women’s sports have never existed on an equal playing field. For too long, we have devalued women’s sports, and we see this in the way that professional women athletes are underpaid compared to men and how transgender women athletes are targeted, attacked, and forced out of their sport. And instead of striving for equality in sports, certain politicians are distracting us from the real issue by blaming transgender women, instead of helping make sports a better place for all women."
A recent poll has shown that 1 in 3 Americans "strongly oppose" biological males being allowed to play on women's collegiate sports, with 56% of U.S adults expressing a belief that trans-identified males have an inherent competitive advantage.

Biological sex is not perfectly binary. Intersex individuals exist, and our laws should accommodate them.
still waiting for the source on that claim of yours that "Regret in transgender people seems to be orders of magnitude less than many other procedures".Lmao. "You can't handle the truth."It's one study, nitwit. It's not all there is. But like I said, cheers to you, vent your spleen all you like. I'm out.
I haven’t checked, but with the Pfizer/Moderna comment and all the conspiracy talk, I’m curious if these same people denying the existence of trans/non-binary identity and wanting to deny these kids medical care are the same people who rally against Dr Fauci, think COVID is a hoax, don’t believe in vaccines, etc. it seems like there might be considerable overlap.
Read this thread. I’m not going to rehash stuff that’s already been discussed.still waiting for the source on that claim of yours that "Regret in transgender people seems to be orders of magnitude less than many other procedures".
go get some study about 20 people that had MOM tatted on their face and do a comparison with 20 people that cut their genitals off and post it here as firm scientific analysis.

so you got nothing. as expected.Read this thread. I’m not going to rehash stuff that’s already been discussed.
I’m not trying to insult anyone, but I’ve come to the realization that there seems to be a lot of commonality (conservative, religious, prone to belief in conspiracies). I usually don’t waste a lot of time trying to argue with these type of people online. I just wanted to share some thoughts, point out some absurdities, and that’s about it.You are waaay smarter than this post.
C'mon man....
I see probably 1000 different people in any given year. Having 10 transgender patient is essentially 1%, and it’s never the primary reason I’m seeing them. So none of this stuff “looms large” in the majority of the people I see. Autogynephilia seems more related to transvestic disorder than gender dysphoria. I honestly don’t know the comorbidity % between the two, but I would guess it’s probably not the highest. You might be able to look it up.Do find you that AGP looms just as large as dysphoria in your patients in any significant ratio?

See, this is why it's pointless to argue with you. I am actually discussing this in good faith, you're trying to win an argument at all cost. The "comeback" is only used when talking about homosexuals.
Sorry, you lose again.

I didn't respond because your post makes zero sense and I wasn't in the mood to start explaining why.I discussed it in good faith as well and destroyed your logic again.
This is why you skipped past all of that and concentrated on the final sentence which has nothing to do with what we were discussing. That means that you have no response because you know you're wrong.
So stop using the people you're pretending to care so much about as an insult to others if you truly care about them.
