Holding this at The Sphere probably came out of some yearly promotional budget that considers this a loss leader.

I don’t think it’s possible for a fight to even make money with the gate numbers there given how fucking expensive it is to do a show there.

I love it, but they’re taking a financial bath in this.

They need to do at least one more at the Sphere but without the Mexico theme. The visuals will appeal to a wider audience and the quality of the fight card won't feel as watered down.

The fighters are mostly making under 100k for the winners with their win bonus.

But the thing is those soccer players are significantly more popular than cage fighters.

The fight card was average at best. They had some bangers but the last two fights kind of ruined it. It was cool seeing the sphere from outside having the fights on it.

When fighters are about to start their walk out.. there should be beautiful scenery from where they are from...filling up the arena...with them in the footage or not.
