I work for Budweiser in the warehouse, and take it from someone who does it for a living, wipe your cans. Or avoid them. People step all over piss in the bathroom then step all on top of cans. I don't even buy cans unless they come in a box. Sometimes it's necessary when you're working though and have bosses breathing down your neck for you to meet your quota.

I always tell people, friend or stranger, when I see them buying open cans. Meaning not in a box. It's gross. I've done it myself countless times. It's all about speed. I'm more worried about my paycheck than your sanitation.

he said at night, the place was crawling with cockroaches.
that was many years ago, so maybe they spray more now.

If it's obviously dirty, yes. If it's just some dust or something, I'll blow it away. If it looks clean, no. Like others here have said, I don't drink from cans much. Sugars and artificial sweeteners are no bueno.
