Do you wipe your cans before you put your lips on them?

I pour the liquid into a glass, I don't want to get unwanted infections.. although, I haven't heard of anybody getting any said infections

Growing up off Cuban sodas (Materva,Jupina, IronBeer) since I was a kid you'd know to rinse or wipe off your sodas. Growing up these sodas would come riddled with dirt + grime caked on them. I rarely drink soda but when I do give me a Materva or Colombiana any day over a boring ass 7-Up or w.e most ppl drink nowadays. Hispanic sodas FTW

I pretty much only drink some beer out of a can and white Monsters. I always wipe the top of the can, but only because once a guy that worked for Coca-Cola told me someone had brought in their dog one day, and the dog ended up pissing on some cans.

If i don't use a glass, i'll run the can under the sink and then rub a paper towel on the lid before opening. I'm not a savage.
