I've been driving the Aspinall war wagon since before it was cool, but there's nothing to suggest that he is a good wrestler.

If Aspinall fully secures top position, there's a chance he finishes Gane in short order. But the takedown might be more difficult than people think.

Gane was taken down 3 times by Volkov, and 4 times by Ngannou. Aspinall will be fine, and he basically has as many submissions as takedown attempts lol

Nah you were spot on with those predictions, but Gane "gave up" the sub because he either went into panic mode or his wrestling/grappling at the time was that bad and i don't think he has the skill set come fight night to take Aspinall down.

I don't know that Aspinall is a particularly great wrestler, though he was able to take down Volkov with relative ease, who was able to take down Gane so we will see.

1) Volkov took him down only when Gane had broken ass feet and toes.

2) Francis had improved his wrestling and took Stipe down as well, just because he's a giant strong African you don't need to racistly label him as a completely unskilled brute. Yes even African guys can develop some wrestling ability, I know it's mind-blowing.

3) Gane took down both Volkov and Ngannou as well.

4) No one has come close to subbing Gane except Jones.
