Movies Do You Still Go To The Movie Theater?

We go fairly frequently, we've got two very cool 100+ year old theatres within walking distance, one of them is the last remaining gaslit cinema in the world. I always get some red wine and some ice cream, unusual combo but it works for me.

Also saw Tom Green so a standup set here about ten years ago and he was surprisingly hilarious because I was only going for my teenage nostalgia and he surprised me.

Yep. My wife and family still love the movie lore and experience. We even bought a new qled Samsung and still go to watch movies.
My best friend and I are going to the movies soon to see F1 on the big screen. IPIC in houston,tx.

Of course, when the point is to get out of the house and disconnect for a couple of hours, and see a movie on a big ass screen.

Or when it’s a movie that it’s meant to be seen on the big screen or on IMAX or with movie theater level sound system.

Not too much anymore. I have a 65in OLED about 8 feet from my couch and a big ass stereo system. People in the theater piss me off too much. It has to be a real spectacle type of movie to get me out, probably my next movie in theaters will be superman.

We do have one theater that has 2 person seats on the edge of the aisles and If I do go, I will only sit in those seats. You have about 5 feet of space in any direction away from people. It does suck tho cause your right next to the wall too. Cant have everything I suppose.

The theater near me has tickets for $5 on Tuesdays. Last time I went was to see Gladiator 2. I don't go watch movies very often.
Gosh I miss the dollar theater we had in Indianapolis. It was called Movies 8. They would show movies that had already been out for a month or more. Sadly in 2006 it got shut down and bulldozed due to a bed bugs problem they couldn't get rid of.

Happened to me in my early 20s. Had to throw away everything I owned and move. Never ever get any sort of used furniture off somebody.
