i like gsp but i think there's little doubt that usman is already on that level and has a chance to cement himself as the best WW we've ever seen.

edwards should be dealt with quite easily I'd imagine.

it was a wrap when leon said he's been working on his grappling ever since the first meeting. i don't believe he's caught up enough in that department to even out the improvements usman has made to his striking.

usman is probably going to throw some leg kicks and jabs early only to feint a strike and move in for a takedown. usman TKO round 2

Love him for the fun fights. Hate him for the boring fights. Interviews are just cringe. I want to like him, but dude is corny. But the guy knows how to win. Super smart fighter even if he can be boring sometimes.

Since he's fighting this saturday, I thought lets see what the numbers will be like on here for this man.

In time he maybe considered one of the GOATs.

I have a weird 'relationship' with Usman. When you catch him on a random Tuesday, he's a very likeable, level headed guy. But when he gets in character mode, he's insufferable. He acts like everything he speaks is part of some foretold prophecy and acts like everything is over the top important to him. Marty vs Kamuru. Where he's from. How the fight will go. Anything that can offend him, does.

He's an amazing fighter and I'd guess he's a pretty decent guy in real life, but I always find myself rooting against him...hard.

So cringe. You are actually defending Usman's corny antics. You remember how he copies Mcgregor? It's fine to be himself instead of adopting another persona that isn't his.

Starting to like him which is a shame because hes close to being done. He puts on good fights and has really stepped up the excitement in his fights the last few years and showed incredible skill.

It doesn't matter how tough he is....he's still a dork.

Those stupid outfits. His attempts at trash talk. If he'd just embrace his inner cornball and not be all awkward and super serious about the most benign things, he'd be a lot more likeable.

I like how skilled and good he is, but he has a boring personality though. He's a good fighter, but a pretty average entertainer.

It's early in the poll but the fact that most are voting indifferent is the problem with Usman. It would even be much better if he was hated. If you want to be a star and make big bank you have to be a polarizing figure. Be a huge heel or big babyface to borrow terms from pro wrestling but the WORST thing people can be towards you... is indifferent.

He should borrow Izzy's pearls for his next fight to mix it up. Maybe get french tips. Ppl would get a lot more fired up about him.
