He is a good fighter and improved a lot as he can finish more now.. very physically strong guy. I like the way he talks about his parents a lot and that he gives as much as possible to them.

I don't like how he acts like he cleaned out the division, he has fought 4 guys in the top 40 WW !!!!!! , so many rematches, he hasn't cleaned out nothing, he is only just getting started, so many guys he hasn't fought yet. So therefore I'm indifferent

my only knock is he is a bit boring. Recency bias is big here. But prior to tko’ing burns and sleeping jorge. Usman has been fairly boring, even his tko over colby the first time was just a kickboxing match that he was losing until he landed that shot.

Bit he’s actually a good champ, a really good fighter who finds a way to win. he’s not cringy, or annoying or sound like a douche. Doenst need to go overboard with his trash talk. He carries himself with respect. represents himself and his family/team well.

skill wise, i still think volk is better p4p.

I find his personality a little bland and cringey are times, but no doubt he’s became great to watch in the cage and he’s ever evolving and getting better. Looking forward to what he’s gonna bring Saturday night

Only thing about Usman is, it pisses me tf off when people compare him to GSP. Two different Era’s I know, but GSP has a FAR better Resume than Usman and had way more Title Defenses in the end, yet people are jumping The Gun and calling him The GOAT, LMFAO. Colby and Tyron are Usman’s best wins, maybe Burns too, given the fact that he’s a World Champion JiuJitsu Black Belt, but still.

GSP has 9 Consecutive Title defenses, Usman sits at 5. So he has to defend 4 more times to tie GSP or 5 times to topple GSP’s already established record and become The New WW GOAT. At 35 years old and younger, hungry Lions like Khamzat and Shavkat on the horizon, I just do not see it happening.

Usman is not and will never be The WW GOAT unless he gets 10 Title Defenses.
