Do you eat at restaurants alone?

First time I did it I was on a 2 night break in turin, last minute thing as flights were dirt cheap. During the day was fine as i would just grab something and eat as i explored but the first evening I stood outside a restaurant feeling embarrassed that I had to eat alone. Took me a good 15 minutes to say fuck it im hungry and went in. Noticed there were others were eating alone and then just relaxed.

I travelled almost 100% for work for about 10 years. Ate at restaurants by myself pretty frequently.

I have when friends have been on shift and I'll sit at the bar and chat but probably not the same thing, you aren't really alone then.

I've done it multiple times after work and have gone home with my waitress once. I either go to this good Japanese place or a Steakhouse down the road. Both staff know me and where I work. Sometimes I'll be sitting there for hours talking to staff before I even order.

Yeah I have ate alone at restaurants before, I don't think it's odd or even a big deal really. I don't really like going to restaurants period though,its usually disappointing no matter the price.

I never did before having to travel for work, but it's actually pretty enjoyable. I also like going to the movies by myself.

Oddly I've done it more often since getting married.

If I'm craving something, wife's at work or the kids don't wanna go I just go and grab a seat at the bar.

Traveling for work is an obvious yes as well.

I pretty much hate doing anything alone, but your not always gonna find a companion, I'm especially thinking about eating out for breakfast. You need breakfast to be served hot and I love a good breakfast joint.
