Not necessarily, I remember rich Franklin mentioning he had problems with his ankle long after the shamrock fight which he had one one slapped on and narrowly escaped.

In this particular fight, Tree Stump let go when the ref stopped him. Like you said, go until the ref stops you. There was less than one second between the ref hugging the leg and Tree Stump letting go.
 
I accidentally voted no, but yes I do. I honestly think he should be cut, he's a disgrace to the sport.

Agree 100%, not once or twice but MANY TIMES he has shown that he has no respect for the integrity of his opponent who has to make a living and provide for his family by doing the same sport he does, I have no respect for people like that, I sincerely hope he loses and gets cut

Rousy held that shit after the intervention and could have finished the guy's career with that submission.

But with that said Palhares is a heelhook master. He holds it at the point before serious damage as he has done it literally 1000s of times. He could if he wanted to instantly tear the knee to shreds then let go. But he cranks it at the correct level.


Give the man some credit, and joint he gym before you ever post on this forum again you dimwit.

You have no concept of a working analogy. Pierce is consenting to a fight and he enters a fight knowing Palhares is going to be attempting this move. In fact, he can be almost certain it is the ONLY move Palhares is going to pull off this move. So in what way is that like people suddenly pulling guns on other people, shooting said guns, and either hitting or missing people?

A closer analogy is that Pierce is like a kid who hangs out with gang members, then gets upset when he gets shot or beaten to s#it by a rival gang. It's still not correct, but its a closer analogy than the BS you just tried to create.

I do agree with it. A bonus is a bonus, he didn't lose out of his fight purse did he? Isn't the UFC reviewing the tape on the fight before they determine if any further actions are needed?

he could be the most exciting fighter, best fighter in the world, but if he wants to ignore the ref and risk damging people unnecessarily, there is no space for him in the sport.

Yes I agree.

This is sport, this is competition. When the other man quits and the ref steps in that should be the end of it, fighters get hurt and may have their careers cut short for this kind of maliciousness.
