Do we really need JDS vs Velasquez 3?

Yup 3 should happen, Cain lost fair and square in the first; made improvements and won the second. Only fair to see if JDS can do the same
 
I want to see it after JDS wins one, or two more times, will be interesting to see how JDS comes back from this.
 
Cain gets knocked unconscious, something he coulsnt do to junior and gets a title shot with a win over a guy coming off a KO loss but junior isn't allowed to challenge again?

What kind of warped logic is that.

Junior needs one or two more wins and he will get his shot.

He deserves a rematch. Let JDS fight someone that's borderline good so his skills can really shine and then make the tie-breaking fight with Cain. It's only fair the JDS gets the same treatment as Cain did.
 
This is hilarious. At the first match, all that it took was one punch from JDS' to make Cain quit. The second time, it was Cain who connected yet he couldn't finish the fight. Do you guys claim dominance because the match lasted longer? I say JDS' win was even better than Cain's and a third match will set who is the better man.
 
I'd love to see a 3rd match between these two guys. Not immediately, JDS needs a couple good wins IMO, but I'd definitely watch a rubber match.
 
Yes, a third fight IS NEEDED!

1st fight: Junior KTFO Cain very fast, didn't take a single punch
2nd fight: Cain totally dominated Junior for five rounds, didn't take a single punch
3rd fight: must happen
 
of course. both fighters were embarrassed in defeat. Cain was more embarrassed in his loss though. JDS showed the true heart of a champion, and I have no doubt that this defeat will make him better
 
Not interested atm, as I always thought Cain was the better fighter.

JDS would have to KTFO Overeem or whoever else for the fans to get behind a 3rd match between the two.

The fact is, JDS only has a puncher's chance and thats all he ever had. He threatens Cain with no submissions, kicks, or anything besides his boxing.

Cain has way more ways to win, and is more diverse. He can GnP JDS, has better array of striking...and could easily KTFO JDS.
 
This is one of the most obvious trilogy setups of all time. Anyone who says otherwise is a complete idiot.

For the record I'd take Cain again in the third just like I did the first two...

we still don't know who the better fighter is though. They are 1-1, and both were dominant in their respective victories.
 
JDS will string some wins together and if Cain is still champ they will fight again. If JDS wins we will see a back and fourth thing they will end up fighting like 5 times when it's all said and done. If Cain wins again they won't fight again it'll just be a trilogy.

Why did cain deserve at rematch after getting Ko'd? You guys are nuts.
 
I don't want to see it unless JDS can put together at least 2 impressive wins. He was dominated last night
 
JDS should have to do what Cain did. Rebound with at least 1 decisive win.
The heavy weight division isn't seem as stacked as it did a year or two ago
