Do Topuria fans really think he's going to beat Islam at WW or anyone at the top of WW?

Topuria is an excellent, excellent fighter, but has talked about moving up to fight Islam and I see Topuria fans saying he's going to beat Islam, but are you actually looking at the the logistics of this fight?

This little manlet is going up fighting real sized men at WW now? A WW Islam will throw him out of the cage.

BTW I picked Topuria to upset Islam at LW (even though I think Khabib beats the shit out of both) but at WW it's a completely different fight.

His last 3 opponents have 15 UFC title fight wins between them and none of them survived long enough to hear the round 2 bell.

i think the same thing. there's winnable fights for him but he needs the right matchups. grapplers and big guys who will use their physicality advantage to overwhelm him or keep him back will be problematic.

We already saw the difference and Illia is better in every single way.

When Islam took a KO shot he lost, When Illia took a KO Head kick he came back and won by KO

Ilia's for real and all, but he wouldn't last long at welterweight. All those guys are so much bigger than him. Usman would muscle him around, no doubt. Belal probably drowns him in a boring decision. Even Leon in his current state might pick him apart with the height and reach advantage. The only top 10 guy i'd maybe feel comfortable picking him against would be Colby, who arguably shouldn't even be there anymore.

MVP would also be a horrible matchup.

Islam yes I dont know about other Big WW's. Islam is closer to Ilia's size than someone like Shavkat so id give him a good chance to beat Islam but rule the WW division? No

I dont understand this notion that Islam is this unbeatable fighter. Hes been KO'ed before, his 1st fight with Volk was competitive. Poirier had his moments against him. Ilia is superior to those guys in every aspect.
