Elections DNC today in Chicago

you have made up a crock of bollocks about Taylor Swift which you can't back up because it doesn't exist.

There were a ton of rumors Swift or Beyoncé might be there, but I don't think the campaign started them.

It's possible they did but in the absence of evidence, this is all just hot air.

As I mentioned to Pinochio, if there was any evidence that the Dems were promising she was going to perform he would have posted it. Sshe's even said she won't endorse Kamala for the sake of Mandarin Molester's sycophants with their fucked up death threats to people who oppose him. I think she said not yet because of Eras, and really why should she anyway?

Show me the insurrection charges (in my Cubba Gooding voice).

They put 150 LEO in hospital.

Why are you so concerned about what it was called?

Here's the definition:

A violent uprising against an authority or government.
"the insurrection was savagely put down"

It was obviously that, and more. They attempted to prevent the certification of Biden and came pretty close to delaying it a day. This was one of multiple actions designed to keep Trump in office.

Harris raises $540 million since launching her presidential campaign

WASHINGTON, Aug 25 (Reuters) - Democrat Kamala Harris has raised $540 million in little more than a month since she began her race for U.S. president, with a surge of donations flowing in during the Democratic National Convention last week, her campaign said on Sunday.

A memo released by Harris' campaign manager, Jen O'Malley Dillon, said the $540 million raised included $82 million that came in during convention week and is a sign of Democratic enthusiasm for her candidacy.

Vice President Harris became a candidate for president on July 21 when President Joe Biden stepped aside under pressure from fellow Democrats concerned about his cognitive ability after he stumbled during a June 27 debate against Republican Donald Trump.

The Harris candidacy has generated momentum that has put Trump on the defensive and he has struggled to maintain the media spotlight on him.

Harris and her vice presidential running mate, Tim Walz, take their campaign for the White House on a bus tour through Georgia this week, looking to build support in a state looming large in the Nov. 5 election.

- They tried a coup, encoraged by Trump. Of course they didnt take in consideration, that other contries wond't reconize the coup. I give a A for enfort, but a c for execution.

- Give a read to the amazing Batman: The Cult, by Jim Starling.
Trump has the same power over people!

I'm a Batmanite, haha.

I'm also a bit of a Swifty as a brilliant role model for girls with charity and making her road crew rich overnight when they weren't expecting it but I admire her for not hitting back at his obsession with her. If she endorses Kamala eventually then great but I'm not holding it against her either way. It's admirable that she's putting her fans first what with the little girls getting stabbed and having to cancel the Vienna gigs with the terror threats.

- Mariah Carey > Taylor Swifty:)
I admire people that put their fans, or in this case, people that pay for their bills first. I even respect that Jay Z said people should take the money, instead of a dinner with him.

Ever read The Cult?

No. It's not open-mic night for anyone.
Not sure if you missed the question or just avoided it.

Why did the DNC invite families of Jewish-Americans captives in gaza get invited to speak but not any Palestinian-American delegates?

Probably because the Jewish-American ones agreed to endorse Biden's admin and Kamala's campaign while Palestinian-Americans are more likely to disrupt the event? We've seen months and months of incredibly disruptive protests by Free Palestine types heckling and crashing Democrat events, why would the Democrats trust them to play nice at the DNC when there's so much potential for things to go wrong? When they were protesting the DNC itself so hard that they needed to erect barricades and fill the streets with cops? IIRC Rashida Tlaib has still not endorsed Kamala and she would've been the obvious candidate for a Palestinian speaker at the convention.

The delegate fro Georgia endorsed Harris if you believe Democracy Now.

You didn't ask that question. I didn't see the speech you're referring to, but I'd guess that the organizers thought inviting the families of the captives would give good speeches that were helpful to their purpose, and they didn't have a Palestinian-American delegate that they thought that about.
