Elections DNC today in Chicago

We can, but it'll take an entire revamping of the system. We'd have to gut insurance and pharmaceutical industries. It'd be a chaotic bloodbath until we get it right.
I don’t know we would have to gut pharma but health insurance companies need to go but they are just banksters syphoning off money from the people to get rich by denying healthcare. They are even using AI to deny claims while people suffer

Clinton was a great Democrat president. He did everything the Republicans told him to do and Dems actually boast about him now lol
Lmao that must be why the GOP loved him so much and still do to this day <lol><lmao>

It'd take harsh regulatory policies on what is now considered normal. So thousands of people who are brought up in a system of take, would have to switch when we fix it.

None of this matters, though. The ends justify the means, but only if we do it right. IMO, having a single payer health care system, ontop of an optional privatized medical system that we have now, while also raising taxes on the top 10% would pay for it all.

Wes Moore spitting fire. Damn.
Was looking forward to him with the freeing the non violent MJ prisoners who were in there for possession. Our future is bright with his age.

And I love PEte as well so tonight's been pretty decent so far.

We had some hate for Bill earlier. You were the Beetlejuice I was talking about, because you don't think he's a sex fiend.
I think he's not a :eek::eek::eek:phile. There is absolutely no evidence of that, and it's sick to just accuse people of that randomly. We also don't really know of that many affairs. Two is still two too many, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's been with a below-average number of women.

My nuance is knowing him and the RNC balanced the budget (you say he didn't, yet we had a surplus in budget for the only time in 2000) while knowing he was a creep.
No. Still wrong. Deficits aren't affected much by annual budgets. Most spending is mandatory, and most non-mandatory spending is on defense. And revenue is determined by tax rates and economic strength. Clinton did get a small tax increase through, but budgets were on track to balance anyway.
Still, one of the greatest orators of all time. That's why I love Obama so much. Family guy, never cheated, and still speaks better than Clinton in his best days.
I think he's a pretty good speaker. Obama is better, yeah. I'd also note that being head of state is part of the job of president. Being an embarrassment is something that detracts from performance.
