I admit to originally thinking of Paddy as a joke, and he probably was, but sometimes fighters grow, and maybe, just maybe, some of the pros in the UFC saw it coming with Paddy before the average Sherbro did ? The LW division is about to go through a transitional stage where the old guard is starting to age and become battle worn. Not being a troll, but Pimblett ain't exactly a spring chicken. He's already 30yo and hasn't fought, let alone beat a top 10, and he's only fought once a year since '22. Does a win over Chandler get him a title eliminator? If it comes that soon, I guess the UFC hasn't announced a fight for Tsarukyan who is 28 or Oliveira who is 35. So is the UFC hoping for a Pimblett win so they can announce a title eliminator with one of them? Between the 2, I can't see either being a good matchup for Pimblett.
