Just one off fights like this last one against Inaba wouldn't be big pay days for her.

They might not even have a tourney for her to win going forward. Lots of the losers from this season might go elsewhere.

If she went to the UFC right now she has some leverage as an undefeated fighter that can charge the UFC more to let them poach PFL's only real star left. The UFC would definitely pay extra for that right now. They're not going to start her under 100k a fight. Dakota on an england card would be bank for them.

And PFL might not even still be around by the time Dakota's new contract with PFL ends. They're a sinking ship with no stars that can't pay Frank. She might not have as much bargaining power at that point considering the UFC will know she has no choice but to sign with them or go fight for peanuts in Invicta or Oktagon or something. Won't go to LFA either because it's a feeder league.

She's got the english market tho, no one there is going to get sick of her fighting any chick they find. She's also turning 27 this year, worst case scenario she'd be out of PFL in her early thirties if not sooner. By that point with Shev retired and the rest of the current top 5 even older it would be the perfect storm for her to take over and cement herself as a dominant force then.

Obviously things could change during that time, but that's probably how her team and her see things playing out.

but to me that's the problem. nobody wants to see her fight old women. they want to see her fight people who are beasts. but i guess if UK pays her to fight cans, then keep on keepin on

True. Hopefully she only signed for 2 more seasons at most. At 28, she'll be in her prime w at least 2 mil in the bank. If still undefeated, she'd be worth more.

Im not sure i would believe that, but at the same time its not like the UFC would pay her that much better considering she doesnt have a following yet.

I believe they adjusted the season purse to 500k, that if they last long enough for the season to make it to the end.
