Man, Silva has a beautiful sense of distance and timing once he gets a read on his opponent. He threw this fight away, though lmao. I feel like he would really benefit from training with Petr Yan, they have this similar capacity for "downloading", but Yan stays composed and pulls away later. There's a sense of inevitability instead of chaos

They are the same height. But Silva fights 10 pounds north, which results in taller opponents.
Silva therefore fights big parts of his game staying TALL. While Yan tugs his chin hands up.
That plus having his chin in the air and hands low resulted in the Lopes loss.
