Diego Lima Believes Ian Garry Will KO Geoff Neal, Eventually Capture UFC Title

Its pretty cool that Ian is visiting and training at Chute Boxe. It shows he's wlling to travel to expand his network and gain knowledge from a foreign source. I could see Garry steamrolling through Neal in the first. Also though I can see this fight being a back and forth war. Pretty big step up for Ian.

KO Geoff isn’t an easy task
I have doubts

True but neither was finishing D-Rod and Garry pulled it off. Geoff is who he is, he's not gonna get any better than what we've already seen of him. Garry may rub some people the wrong way with his personality but he's no doubt very talented and will keep leveling up between fights, I think he'll put a clinic on Neal.

D-Rod has looked terrible after coming back from his shoulder injury/surgery. Shoulder injuries are unbearable. With that said, I hope Geoff stiffens Ian Madelena Garry.

I wanna see if he shored up that defense, Neal will make him pay for it if he didn't.

I dont think cant see Garry winning a fire fight with Neal, outside fighting sounds about right for Garry.

Gary Machado honestl has been lucky so far in his UFC career, during a majority of his fights he’s been connected on cleanly, he’s been hurt and even dropped. His striking defense is average at 54%, but he’s stepping up in comp fighting Geoff Neal who throws hard and often, averaging 5+ connections per minute at a 50% clip. He definitely needs to play it safe and steady with Neal, especially since he probably won’t get any second chances if he makes a mistake. Neal hits like a truck, he owns KO’s over block heads like Perry and Luque, also handed Belal his last defeat. If I were Ian, I’d play the game within the game during fight week to level the field, switch up Neal’s beverage cup with one Ian had rubbed his HSV cold sores all over. If it goes as planned, Geoff will catch the herpes and it could effect his weight cut, giving Gerry a slight advantage.

Maybe it's just because I had such high expectations of Shavkat, but I thought Neal made him look very, very human. If Neal's in a bad way in his career that's evem more impressive for him or disappointing for Shavkat.

Almost akin to Chimaev's test against Burns, obviously without a finish and not quite as close.
You're not the only person I've seen say that on here, and it's kinda wild to me. Neal hits HARD and Shavkat mostly just walked right through it and beat the shit out of him. I was pretty surprised, he looked like the Terminator in that fight.

Terminatoring your way through fights isn't indicative of long title reigns in your future. It shows poor striking defense. But I think Neal deserves some credit too; it's the only time we've seen Shavkat face any kind of adversity so far.
