It seems like Jon Jones fans stick with him no matter what.

I'll be honest, I was a fan too when he was first told he had a title shot against Shogun in a live event and he fell to his knees in the cage in celebration. Even my wife was happy for him.

But I quickly lost respect for him with all the legal issues / questionable drug tests etc

But people still stick with the guy ...

Now the much anticipated rematch is in jeopardy due to his inability to change his ways.

Thoughts?

I really really want DC to whoop him. I love DC more, total integrity guy vrs Jones personality ...

I can't separate Jones in the Octagon from Jones behind the wheel of a car either. He's the same guy, and that guy isn't really a good guy. But some people seem to be able to do it, and thus they remain fans, or as TCE said, actually he grows on them.

Jones is a marvelous fighter, so if you aren't bothered by his personal behaviour and he hasn't slaughtered your personal favourite it stands to reason you'd be a fan.

I am a fan of his MMA skills, attitude in the cage and him always showing up and not pulling out of fights like some other champs.

Sherdog will still love him outside of the cage too, if he said he doesn't smoke pot that would be a problem and would be hated...if he ran over someone with a car that is not a big deal

Just can't be a fan of a terrible person no matter how much i like this sport or how good said person is at the sport. I will root against that person 10/10 times. I honestly hope he doesn't get out of jail for atleast 6 months. Fuck UFC 197, stack your cards better and this kinda shit wouldn't be an issue.
