They did? Well damn, my bad then.Paulie was in some good fights, I always thought he got a bad rap. The Diaz fights were pretty good, the Cotto fight was good.
They did, actually.
Yeah, I think they mentioned a few times there was something hanging over the ring. They did? Well damn, my bad then.
maybe i shouldnt say i dislike Paulie as a fighter because you are right, the fight vs Miguel Cotto was a damn good one. i just dont like his boxing style; its not particularly pleasing to watch. he tended to have fights that were as exciting as his opponent chose to make them. but he was definitely a gritty dude; ive rarely seen a worse broken jaw in boxing than when he fought Cotto.
50% of the people voting yes on any poll are just going along to get along, and probably think the ref is infallible. I don’t think these guys even know where the belt line is, lol, sound like kids making up rules as they go along.Wow, so you're telling me the much more popular fighter is leading in the polls?
edit- lol its actually the boxrec forum. Thats like listing this site as proof.
And furthermore I just plain don’t care anymore, but they just keep getting more smug with each reply lol50% of the people voting yes on any poll are just going along to get along, and probably think the ref is infallible. Teddy Atlas:
“Even if Usyk does have an iron chin, he might have a glass belly! I believe he legitimately was hurt. I can’t tell you if he was hurt because of the damage it did to the body or the damage it did to the groin area.”
“It didn’t seem to be on the groin area, it seemed to be on the side. But it was below the line and below where the cup begins.”
“It wasn’t dramatically below, but it was below. So it’s technically a low blow, that’s not too hard to define.”

Teddy should watch both Joshua fights and his fight against Gassiev. Two big punchers that hit Usyk to the body a lot and Joshua was 20+ pounds heavier on fight night and the much bigger man in there. He handled them without much issue. Nobody takes low blows well.Teddy Atlas:

Sounds like a statistic that you pulled out of your ass. Feel free to link to any poll on the web. There's a clear consensus. Twice as many people believe that it was low.50% of the people voting yes on any poll are just going along to get along, and probably think the ref is infallible. Yeah, in this WBSS1 tournament Gassiev, despite wasn't hardest puncher in general, was hardest body puncher....Teddy should watch both Joshua fights and his fight against Gassiev. Twice as many responded to the poll, you mean.Sounds like a statistic that you pulled out of your ass. Feel free to link to any poll on the web. There's a clear consensus. Twice as many people believe that it was low.
I mean, this sounds like a good idea regardless of whether or not Chisora brings it up.This has probably been posted and discussed but I don't have time to read 12 pages in this thread alone.

Derek Chisora has demanded that VAR be used in boxing after a controversial low-blow call during Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois.
Speaking to talkSPORT's Gareth Davies, he said: "I'll be honest about it.
"You know what they need to do now? We need to get VAR in boxing now.
"We need to get VAR in boxing because right now, Daniel has lost the fight.
"He lost the rematch, which is about £20million or £30m. He lost money.
"So now we need VAR. All the other games have them. Tennis, football, we need it in boxing now. We need VAR in boxing and that's it."
Which asked them if they thought it was low or not.Twice as many responded to the poll, you mean.
The source is Cocktagon News? Sounds legit. Usyk doesn't talk like that so the quote has to be a joke.Usyk has a pretty big mouth. Pics or GTFO! (no homo)
No. Actually it's the opposite of what you say. He didn't take the body shots well at all. I am beginning to suspect this has been Usyks tactical trick throughout his career to protect his 'glass belly'.Teddy should watch both Joshua fights and his fight against Gassiev.
