Hw division is utter crap and always has been. What brock pulled off can only be done in hw.

Brock: Athlete-Wrestler-Athlete

CM Punk: Non-Athlete-Wrestler-Didn’t get much better

Brock is a legit fighter, dude is a beast.

He proved that to us against Carwin and Mir, the guy was a bit of a glass cannon at times but the dude always came to fight.

I stand corrected. Makes you wonder why punk didn't just power bomb Mickey gall through the canvas. Too much pride maybe ? Possibly He wanted to stand and trade to give gall a chance or some shit .

Lmao like today’s hw division is any better? You have a one dimensional mediocre at best hw in ngannou who’s considered a top 5 hw .. Carwin would’ve put ngannou away easily hell Brock before his illness would’ve taken down ngannou in a flash and finished him with ease .. the hw division today is mediocre at best.. aside from Cormier and miocic= a bunch of cans tbh

Francis is 3-1 with 3 KO's against wrestlers. Stipe's boxing opened up the TDs. Blaydes is a better wrestler than Stipe.

Your essentially listing off acting credits as NONE of those accomplishments mean anything or translate to real fighting.......as we seen a photographer kicked his ass.

Clippy has even more spare time than I do!

Brock was sort of like a mark Kerr. Huge guy that could wrestle. Allot of people actually thought hed do really well. I dont remember anybody seriously thinking cm punk could beat anybody

Yes absolutely. I never thought Brock was a bad fighter, he just froze when he got hit in the face. Total glass cannon but a great offensive fighter

It never really had anything to do with Brock.

Like him or not, Brock was a UFC HW champion with 2 title defenses.

Randy was old, but he had just dominated 2x champ Tim Sylvia and beat Gonzaga, the guy who kicked Crocop's head off. Frank Mir had just become the first guy to KO Nog and was the interim champ. Carwin was 12-0 and was flat lining everyone in the 1st round.

You can say Brock was rushed into a title shot, sure, but he got the job done and defended against legit competition. He had a hell of a run.

Did he get in at the right time during a relatively weak HW division? Sure. But he became champ and defended twice and that has to be respected.
