Bobby lashley is a better comparison. Both juiced experienced wrestlers who have had good success in MMA. Lesnar looked far more explosive than Lashely.

1) Brock was an NCAA wrestler
2) Brock fought at HW
3) HW is not only shallow, but also lacks decent wrestlers

These 3 things + getting gifted a title shot against a small Randy are what made Brock look good
