Did Bo Nickal Sign His Death Certificate Last Night with His Dumb Interview Answers?

Completely embarrassing interview. I look forward to the day this clown gets slept. And it better not be on the main card of a PPV again. He deserves to get slept on the prelims in the apex.

Fuck any fighter that tries to tell us we should enjoy cowardly performances like that.

Word.

I was literally laughing out loud at all the cowardly "just really don't want to take a chance" feints from both in the 3rd.

Bo Nikal = Afraid to Get Hit

He will NEVER make Champion.

Bo did just fine, both in the fight , and the post fight victors interview. It obviously wasn't a shit performance by Bo, but it was some shit expectations and analysis by some "fans" in attendance and online.

Dude is not MMA champion material. The «Dagestani Killer» is a meme at this point.

Bo is an extremely high level wrestler. And very likely can be a reincarnation of Colby at 185. Dominant but not entertaining. I don't know what everyone expected. As his level of competition increases he'll rely more and more on his wrestling.

Too fast? He claims to be champ material and hasn’t fought anyone serious yet. Could not engage with fading Craig, and most fans need help of google to figure out all his other previous opponents are fighters.

Yeah that's what I'm saying, he needs more fights before they put him on a PPV spot, especially a Jones card in MSG.

Why didn't Craig even attempt to pull guard? It was clear Bo was scared of that aspect of his game... Craig was just as stupid imho.
Craig is just done, he probably shouldnt be fighting at all anymore.

He was put in this fight for Bo to tee off on and Bo just couldnt let it go.

"How did you feel about the crowd cheers"

"Oh yeah I liked the Booooooooooo chants"

Guess he pull a Dana and pretended he didnt hear the "overrrrated" chants lol

I mean Colby at least comes forward to throw shots to set up his takedowns.

Colby gained that skill as he got better than MMA. Bo was fast tracked to the UFC. Colby got to come along at a much better, more natural pace. Bo is being rushed. One of the worst things to happen to no was beating Gordon. Bo wrestled in a BJJ match.
But trust me. There was a point in Colby's early career that he'd launch TD attempts from across the cage with no set up.

Sure, I can see him getting more comfortable. He is not ready yet....but like...he really could have stopped this guy if he had more confidence. So in that sense...he needs time to get more confident at that level.

Now beating this current version of Craig doesnt mean that much, and there are other guys who would kill him, so they need to dial back his push a bit.

Agreed. He needs more experience before the UFC's greed kills off a really, really good prospect by pushing him too fast.
I think khazmat would choke the life out of him.

They cant even sanction such an obvious massacre.

They would have to make a Wikipedia page called "The unfortunate Bo Nickal incident"

yes, weird how the UFC still is all in on this guy, based on his wrestling credentials, he's 28, not old but not young either, i think it's obvious now he's not gonna be champ they want him to be
he said the same thing at ufc 300 "it's only my 6th fight" "it's only my 7th fight"...plenty of fighters were already contender by that time, like many said he will reach his ceilling soon

They can make money off him till the wheels fall off.

He needs to stop golfing and going on podcasts. It is obvious he isn't training much outside of camps.

He needs someone to tell him he didn't win as solidly as he thinks he did.

The real question is what prompted the absurd hype in the first place. I get it he was a very decorated wrestler. But anyone who watched his last fight against Brundage got a pretty good idea about his limitation. Now it's even more obvious. Just shows that fight knowledge is pretty low in MMA. People watch Khamzat steamrolling pro after pro and then just keep moving goal posts yet they see Bo looking less than stellar against hand-picked opponents and then predict he's coming for the belt. It is crazy.
People don’t understand how age works

He started MMA at 26 after failing at an international wrestling career

If he was 22 coming right out of college I’d be on the hype train as well, but he’s almost 29
