He’s such an exception though, and he’s been given hand picked match ups by the UFC and has never had to fight anyone who can actually grapple

Of course Bo has too, but they’re not gonna be able to protect him at MW the same way they have Pereira who was able to fight Izzy, leave MW and then go to an absolutely awful LHW division that has literally no one who can wrestle

I'll ask you what I ask everyone who claims this.

His hardest fight so far in the UFC (not counting the Izzy KO obviously) was against Jan, LHW's best grappler.

It isn't Poatan's fault that he was born to be a 6'4" LHW at the exact moment in time that there just so happens to not be any NCAA caliber wrestlers at LHW. There aren't any at MW either. It just is what it is.

Paul Craig was a terrible match up for Bo. You don't want to take him down as that is where he has the best chance to win. In the stand up Paul is decent enough to make Bo look bad because Bo isn't particularly experienced in the striking.

I agree that Craig is a terrible stylistic matchup for Bo, but if you are supposedly a world class fuckin grappler who would ragdoll Khamzat, shooting 0 takedowns vs Paul Craig is incredibly telling imo.

Whittaker likely TKO's him, but would take some time. Strickland would march him down and make it look like nothing until Bo quits.





His best shot at beating Khamzat is if he trips and twists his ankle climbing into the Octagon. That is not a competitive fight.

I'm just a little sus about the top MW's TDD, the division has revolved around strikers for awhile. I guess even if Khamzat runs through all of them with his wrestling, you could say his level is just so much higher than Bo's that you can't compare. Bo is going to have to come out looking like a whole new fighter if he's ever going to get to Khamzat's level. Bo is still relatively young, but not a good sign to struggle so much against Craig standing.

Maybe it is but it is possilbe he wanted to get some time in the cage and working on his striking. It would be more telling if he was getting his TDs stuffed or was getting boxed on the feet.
