Did 'Black Fedor' surpass the original?

As much as I hate Cormier, I can't deny that he's one of the best ever. But Fedor is still the GOAT imo.

Age alone doesn't tell you someones prime years, is Shogun still in his prime now? guys who start young and are highly active naturally drop of sooner plus as mentioned PEDs can have a significant impact, when Hendo lost the TRT his form suddenly dropped off as did Vitors.

With the time difference between their prime years I don't think you can make many direct comparisons in opponents, its more judging overall achievement.

We are obligated to call him White Fedor, since DC now has assumed default Fedor.

There is a good chance the TS made the majority of their posts in the pre-like era. Like 5000+ of my posts are before the like system was implemented.
 
Cormier being a crybaby and a sellout disqualify him from any Fedor comparisons

Mir - Fedors win arguably more impressive as was Ko. Although Cormiers all round beatdown is what he does best.

Most telling maybe Henderson.
Fedor got ko'd badly, was a desperate fight for both until then.
Cormier on otherhand beatdown and domination so bad it made Rogan say one of most insulting yet perhaps fitting description of fight: " its like a boy and man"

Cormier has whos who in lhw and some big names on hw

So has Fedors GOAT status fallen enough that this is still debatable still or is this a close comparison.
Considering both stories are still being told and Fedor may soon be Bellator HW champ also.

The Cormier/Hendo fight was tough to watch. I wish Hendo would have just tried to keep it standing. I know its tough, but Cormier was such a better wrestler that it was unwise to even try to grapple

Legacy? For beating guys who went on to have poor careers on the UFC. Having a close Fight with Bret Rodgers and losing to Big foot is not good.
 
Lol Fedor is way behind Cormier. Fedor got KTFO by a 100 year old MW who Cormier manhandled.
 
So we had black Fedor, mexican Fedor, and American Fedor. When will we have Asian Fedor?
