Devil's Minions Team-summer Squat Competition

Things bad for squatting:

1. drinking booze
2. smoking/other drugs
3. not sleeping enough
4. eating like prepubescent girl
5. not squatting...

whatever else you do is none of my concern.......I want at least 10% improvement from everyone...
 
I can't help but sleep and eat a ton when I'm doing a lot of squatting (ie, the next 10 weeks, give or take). The hunger is ravenous and if I stay stationary for longer than 5 minutes, I usually fall asleep.
 
Ya I'm always sleeping and eating man... always drinking and smoking though too

Yeah I'm not getting into how often I drink or smoke. I will be cutting down, though. Actually I guess I have been. It really only takes place on the weekends, maybe one night a week.

* edit * On second thought, looking at my log, when I talk about working out hung over, it's probably a little more often that that. That's what I'm working towards, though. Once a week.

Alright Devil, I'll make a deal with you. Remember how you said you expect 10% improvement from everyone? I'm calling 20%. If I don't get it, you get to choose an av and sig for 2 months for me (and the haunting of my dreams). If I get it, nothing. I just want the added pressure. 20% for me would be about 70 lbs., so I need to hit 415. Even if it means giving up the booze and hard living. And fast women.
 
If this team is anti-alcohol than I would like to leave.

Easy as pie. I am getting stronger. I have hockey tomorrow and need to save some strength for the ice. Squatting on thursday.

Oh, and when I said once a month, I meant 1 all out party usually ending in 12-15 beers, half of those funneled, a few shots, and then pot at the end of the night. Since I squat Friday, I'll make sure not to do it Thursday night :icon_chee
 
Looks like I'm the only one here listening to Captain's orders, well forced to since I'm underage and on probation.
 
couple beers here and there are not going to kill you and I generally dont have an issue with that..but 12-15 alcoholic beverages will fuck you up days on end when it comes to training and is pretty stupid imo...all the benefits of booze disappear after like 2-3.....
