That was nice. I opened that assuming it was the gunz thread, and had a witty remark for it and everything. I can give credit where credit is due.
 
So I hit a 405 deadlift today(my bday), woo woo. Well it was 403 not 405... but I'm sure the spring collars weigh 2 pounds together? Lol
 
Ya I wanted to hit 405 before I really started focusing on my squat so I imagine I'll be hitting lots of squat PR's from now on
 
that's the spirit. awesome job on 4 plates....hit up some squat PRs now...you'll notice that u can deadlift 1-3rm every 3-4 weeks and be as strong or stronger....if u continue to squat....so focus on squatting...

Smolov Back Squat Cycle

Second week of Smolov for me. The guide I'm using has this easy week in here, I'm assuming before next week's fury strikes me down. Form felt good, the weight wasn't heavy, though I'm really starting to feel the muscles used from going past parallel since I made a point of it. I think we got this one locked up, it's the Minions' game already.
 
I was supposed to squat today but I decided to sleep instead... will eb sqautting tomorrow morning :(
 
alright i was finally able to get into the gym today. The campus gym was closed for the summer?! I dont know but....

3 sets 5 reps of 185

i am not sure but i know im definately going low enough because people would come up to me telling me im going to blow out my knees but i feel like im leaning forward too much. I felt it on my first working set since during warmups i would try to make sure to sit back and explode with my heels but when i was going working set it just didnt feel right when i did it so i feel like i leaned. (no grammar nazis please)

I guess i should get a camera or something to show the team but i dont really have access to one right away. Should i drop the weight for now?
 
sometimes sleeping is more productive than squatting....I have faith that he knows when that is...
 
Plus I just pulled 405 on saturday...just letting that lowerback be nice and ready
 
it was probably the right decision. Not everyone can train 6 days a week like Fatty...and sometimes twice...

I was beat for week or week and half after all out attempts for deadlifts...so they are definitely very stressful on the body and mind...
 
We're having a summer squat competition.... you should join the devils minions though if you join any team ;)
