Good. ACA was a step in the right direction but our healthcare system still needs big improvements. I'd like to know who would qualify for tax credits under the new proposal.

I'm fine with having private health insurance companies, as long as purchasing insurance is heavily subsidized for people who don't get it through their employer. Right now there are people who have to spend hundreds a month for exchange plans, who do not qualify for any subsidies. That's unacceptable.

I think it's time we adopt a system the rest of the free world uses and stop bending over for insurance companies that make record breaking profits.

Bernie's "Medicare for all" plan seems to be somewhat operative but by no means universally embraced by all democratic lawmakers.

I'm all for the single payer system. Bernie's plan is very comprehensive and I'd say that America is long overdue a healthcare overhaul. Unfortunately, like you said, not many Dems hopped on the train, but I would be very surprised if they don't do so by next election.

Its all mediocre bullshit. We need to pass single payer and be done with it. All any of this does is keep the Insurance middle man around. I get tired of seeing 500$ every two weeks fly out of my damn paycheck to the insurance people. I wont support anything other then real, true single payer.

Given the state of constant cluster fuck our government operates under most of the time, I really don't see that happening. Not realistically anyways.

Jesus Fucking Christ. That's a ridiculous amount of money for health insurance. Most people can't manage making payments like that, especially living in overpriced cities where the rent is too damn high. No wonder so many people take the risk and go into massive debt.
