The more I read this thread, the more I think DDP just can't count.

As others have said, it's unlikely he fights before September. But the September card is in Mexico. I doubt Khamzat fights there.

October is likely to be Abu Dhabi, which would be most likely for Khamzat to fight at .... but that's 5 months away. So I would put the odds on DDP just failing at counting the months here. If you replace 4 months with 5 months, his statement makes sense.

Sure, that is plausible. That would be 2x fights for the year, and that is typically what Dricus does. He's not an inactive champion and doesn't avoid any fights, I'm happy with this moving along.
