DC Universe: Rebirth Special #1

Her back story was in Darkseid wars 1 shot. They had one for each person.

If you're talking about the woman holding baby Darkseid...she is his daughter that was born the night of Diana. She is half amazon and Darkseid. Her mom escaped the isles and tried to teach her right but her inner darkseid kept killing.

She is the one who sought out anti monitor who initially kills Darkseid which has tremendous ramifications on the JLA.

The baby was born from the lois of the crime syndicate. That whole story is written by Geoff johns

Interesting.

It also says Diana had a brother born the same night.

Yes it is.

Also this is black Wally west
wally-west-flash.jpg

Since the actual fastest man alive is black. This is fair play. Fast twitch for the win!

Ya that was revealed in jla 50.

I think alot of these secrets will take time to come to fruition. Like joker and Dr manhattan. I would think this will be next year's big block buster

Is square-bound the same as trade paperback? I know DC has reprinted square-bound editions of DC Universe Rebirth Special #1, and if square-bound = trade paperback, then it wont have any value in the future, right?

Upon rereading it I might of misspoke on the black flash being gay.

There is a black kid, they mention swimming and his boyfriend and then he looks at the fish tank. Not sure who that will be.

Did you read the dark seid anti monitor war?
Aqualad

I have not been able to keep up with this, but sounds somewhat promising

hey Marvel finished a reboot too didn't they?

Diana had a brother called the First Born in Azzarello's arc, is that who everyone is talking about?

Read it and loved it. Makes for some good stories down the road. Glad the true Wally is back.

Ya marvel did secret wars but nothing has been good really, civil war started ok but rebirth out sold them

Not sure but I would say no because of the secrets behind it.

Supposed to be her twin, no one knows what happened.

Rebirth with wonder woman will be part year one and a new story

So they rebooted New 52, that didn't last long then. I was getting used to emo Superman.

Anybody?

Ive never gotten a square back or heard that term.

But a trade paper back does lose its value if you are a collecter like me. I'll buy a used trade and if I like it will go back n get the original issues.

However there are some collected editions that are valuable. I had gotten the whole collection of Frank miller's run on daredevil. Sold it for a nice amount

Thanks. Ya it says it's new.

It's just collecting a few issues but 2nd printings could be worth money.

I might check it out for the couple rebirth I skipped. I got most though

No hellblazer no care.

100%. I haven't even finished reading Hellblazer (the last trade I read was 10 or 11 I believe). I'm a DC fan, but I've just lost interest in Superhero comics overall (yes I know JC wasn't a superhero). I haven't been reading many superhero comics (or comics in general) at all recently, but when I have, it's mostly been 2000AD stuff like Slàine, Strontium Dog, Nemesis the Warlock, etc. & Heavy Metal.

I'm more interested in genre fiction comics these days. For DC stuff, I mostly prefer the Pre-Crisis stuff as well as the Vertigo/Mature readers books from the 90s. The Alan Grant Demon & Lobo works from the 90s as well as Hellblazer & Sandman related/dark fantasy stuff was all kick-ass IMO.

I'm more interested in those types of characters & stories than reading about the current Superman stories that are (from a creative perspective) lame compared to the stuff from the character's inception & the pre-crisis stories.

Rebirth was cool, I got it at the midnight release! lol

The new batman run looks weak so far... hope it improves...

Green Lantern is looking pretty solid.

Need to read aquaman and green arrow.

Hope rebirth is awesome in the long run!
