Dave Chapelle is TERRIBLE now

Dave Chappelle hasn't been that funny to me. I love his tribute speeches though. Very articulate and intelligent speaker.

Not Gillis, that's for fucking sure. He's really hit or miss for me. I've been out on stand up for a long time now. Too much product, and not much worth an investment. I used to love Chappelle. I'm not even going to waste my time watching his new special. I thought Sticks and Stones was the last one he did that was good.

Chappelle has been on a decline for a while. Doesn’t look like it will change anytime soon .

Funny to see grown adults still walking around with views of religion that a 12 year old has. So much arrested development with people.
 
Just tried to watch Chappelle's Show again . A few like Ni***** Family , Rick James are I admit still funny but man overall really meh I used to say it was better than Kids in the Hall or Whitest kids you know .......... not even on on same level as KITH imo now

Ever since Trump he's slowly morphed from a comic into this wise philosopher or whatever. It wasn't that bad at first but he's gotten more and more preachy and political.

And I have mostly the same political leanings so nothing he says offends me, but it's also not funny and comes off like lectures instead of standup bits.

He’s a terrible commentator. Nothing he says is profound. It’s only because it’s Dave Chappelle saying it that the damn zombie audience and left will applaud.

Again im not from the states so I’ve no skin in that game.
